圣灵怎样使我与基督联合?   How does the Holy Spirit unite me to Christ?

这就是“救赎的次序” 的问题。This is the issue of the ordo salutis (order of salvation).

罗 Romans 8:28-30

我们晓得万事都互相效力,叫爱神的人得益处,就是按祂旨意被召的人。

因为祂预先所知道的人,就预先定下效法祂儿子的模样,使祂儿子在许多弟兄

中作长子﹔

预先定下的人,又召他们来﹔所召来的人,又称他们为义﹔所称为义的人,又

叫他们得荣耀。

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

预定 Predestination  -> 呼召 Calling -> 称义 Justification -> 得荣耀 Glorification.

一。呼召 (有效的恩召)。

  1. Calling (Effectual Call).

林前 I Corinthians 1:9

神是信实的,你们原是被祂所召,好与祂儿子,我们的主耶稣基督一同得分。

God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

罗 8:29-30上     Romans 8:29-30a

因为祂预先所知道的人,就预先定下效法祂儿子的模样,使祂儿子在许多弟兄

中作长子。

预先定下的人,又召他们来…

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

and these whom He predestined, He also called …

圣灵将福音带到我的面前。神呼召我(神以祂的圣旨召我。) 结果是﹕我被召了。

圣灵“得着” 我的生命 (抓着了我) 。  圣灵的呼着是大能有力的,有效的。

The Holy Spirit brings the gospel TO me.  God calls me.  And the result: I am called.  The Holy Spirit takes hold of me. His calling is powerful and effective (effectual).

(Foreknowledge/fore-love -> predestination -> calling -> justification -> glorification)

(预知/预备=爱 -> 预定 -> 呼召 -> 称义 -> 得荣耀)

二。重生。

  1. Regeneration. (The Holy Spirit re-births a person.)

(注﹕清教徒与《威敏斯特信仰告白》﹕ “重生” 被归在“呼召” 里讨论。)

(Note: For Puritans and WCF, “regeneration” is discussed as part of “calling.)

约 John 3:3, 5, 8

耶稣回答说﹕我实实在在的告诉你,人若不重生,就不能见神的国。

耶稣回答说﹕我实实在在的告诉你,人若不是从水和(圣)灵生的,就不能进神

的国。

风随着意思吹,你听见风的响声,却不晓得从那里来,往那里去﹔凡从(圣)灵

生的,也是如此。

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.   …

The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

结 Ezekiel 36: 25, 26, 27

我必用清水洒在你们身上,你们就洁净了。我要洁净你们,使你们脱离一切

的污秽,弃掉一切的偶像。

我也要赐给你们一个新心,将新灵放在你们里面﹔又从你们的肉体中除掉石心

,赐给你们肉心。

我必将我的灵放在你们里面,使你们顺从我的律例,谨守遵行我的典章。

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

多 Titus 3:4-7

但到了神我们救主的恩慈和祂向人所施的慈爱显明的时候,

祂便救了我们﹔并不是因我们自己所行的义,乃是照祂的怜悯,借着重生的洗

和圣灵的更新。

圣灵就是神借着耶稣基督我们救主厚厚浇灌在我们身上的,

好叫我们因祂的恩得称为义,可以凭着永生的盼望成为后嗣 (或﹕“可以凭着盼

望承受永生”) 。

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

(Note sequence: regeneration -> justification -> eternal life)

Note: God saved us; God really saved us!

“重生” 与一个人“悔改,相信” 或“接受耶稣基督为个人救主” 不一样。

“To be born again” is not the same things as my faith in Christ.

“重生” 的意思是﹕圣灵进入我的心中,赐给我一个新的心。

“Regeneration” means that the Holy Spirit comes INTO my heart, and gives me a NEW heart.

结 Ezekiel 36:25-27:

(a) 25节 – 除去石心(不顺服的心)。God takes away the heart of stone (disobedient).

(b) 26 节 – 神把肉心放在人里(顺服的心)。God replaces it with a heart of flesh (obedient).

(c) 27 节 – 圣灵入住新心里。The Spirit of God now lives in the new heart of flesh.

约 John 3:3, 5, 8:

(a) “以水重生” 的意思﹕洁净 (不是洗礼﹗上下文从没有提到洗礼。)。

Born of water.  Cleansing.  Not baptism!  (Baptism is nowhere mentioned in the context as the subject of discussion.)

(b)  “以灵重生” 的意思﹕ 圣灵赐新的人性(新的心)。Born of the Holy Spirit (gives me a new nature).

多 Titus 3:4-7:

(a) 洁净。Cleansing.

(b) 灵。The Spirit.

林后 II Corinthians 5:17

若有人在基督里,他就是新造的人旧事已过,都变成新的了。

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold,  new things have come.

重生乃是圣灵在一个人里面,彻底的,全人的改变。结果﹕他是一个新的人。

Regeneration is the inner, total, and radical transformation of a person by the Holy Spirit, so that the result is: he is a new person (II Corinthians 5:17).

完全的新了。真正的新了。

Totally new.  Really new.

重生是一个奥秘。可是,绝对是一个事实。很多时候,重生是一个过程。

Regeneration is a mystery.  However it is a fact.  Often, it can be a process.

三。(圣灵所重生的人能够﹕)    (Regeneration results in, causes):

归正 /回转 =信心 +悔改。

  1. Conversion = Faith and repentance.

信心 Faith =

(a) 认知。知道福音。Notitia: knowledge of the Gospel, I am aware of the Gospel;

(b) 同意/认同。被说服。扎心。Assensus: agreement, I am convinced, I am convicted;

(c) 委身/献身/决志。把生命帝主权完全交出/献上。只信靠 / 依靠基督的宝血。

只安息在祂完成了的救赎功劳里。接受/拥抱祂为救主。降服。

Fiducia: commitment, turning over my life to Christ, trust in his blood only, depend on his blood only, rest in him only, embrace/receive him only as my Savior.  Surrender.

悔改 Repentance:

(a) 承认。Confess my sin(s);

(b) 忧伤。恨恶罪。羞耻。Grieve over sin, hate sin, be ashamed of  sin(s);

(c) 回转。跑到十字架面前﹕Turn to the cross, run to the cross.

Ask for forgiveness, 求赦免,

Believe Christ’s forgiveness, 相信神的赦免,

Receive Christ’s forgiveness by faith.  接受神的赦免。

对传道人实际的涵义﹕我们必须邀请,恳求罪人悔改。

Practical implication for pastors: Do plead with sinners to repent, to turn and live.

以西结书Ezekiel 18﹕30-32

所以主耶和华说﹕以色列家啊,我必按你们各人所行的审判你们。你们当回头

离开所犯的一切罪过﹔这样,罪孽必不使你们败亡。

你们要将所犯的一切罪过尽行抛弃,自作一个新心和新灵。以色列家啊,你们

何必死亡呢﹖

主耶和华说﹕我不喜悦那死人之死,所以你们当回头而存活﹗

“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord God.  “Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you.

Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit!  For why will you die, O house of Israel?

For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God; “Therefore, repent and live.”

神说﹕回转罢﹗我不喜悦罪人灭亡﹗回转,存活﹗

God says: “Turn!  Why die?  I am not pleased when you die.  Turn and live!”

这是很有意思的事﹕改革宗神学并不排除呼召人信主﹗试看历代的 “改革宗” (相

信,宣讲神的预定拣选的) 布道家﹕保罗,清教徒,怀特非德,司布真,唐崇荣﹗

其实,当我们真正的了解《圣经》时,我们会发现,神永恒的预旨,拣选的教

义为布道事工提供了正确的,真理上的基础与动力﹗

Isn’t it interesting! Reformed theology does not preclude an invitation to people to come to the Savior!  Look at the leading evangelists who believe and preach the doctrine of election through history: Paul, the Puritans, George Whitefield, Charles Spurgeon, Stephen Tong!  If we truly understand the Bible, we will see that the doctrine of God’s eternal election actually gives a true impetus to evangelism, a foundation and motivation for evangelism which is based on truth.

四。称义。是一个法律上的动作 (宣告) 。

  1. Justification. It is a legal (forensic) act: a legal declaration.

神宣告我在神目前的地位﹕我不再是一个有罪的人 (罪名不成立)﹕我在神面前的

罪孽除去了。

God pronounces my new status: I am no longer a guilty sinner.   The guilt (iniquity) which I had before God has been removed.

罗 Rom. 3:25-26

神设立耶稣作挽回祭,是凭着耶稣的血,凭着人的信,要显明神的义。因为

祂用忍耐的心宽容人先时所犯的罪,

好在今时显明祂的义﹔使人知道祂自己为义,也称信耶酥的人为义。

whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith.  This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forebearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;

for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

神是公义的,也称(信的) 人为义 (恩典) 。

God is just and the justifier (gracious).

神是称义的神﹕这是祂的恩典。

God is justifier: that is grace.

可是,神也是公义的。这怎么说﹖

But God is just: in what sense is God “just” in this context?

(一) 耶稣付了罪价﹕祂完全承当了刑罚。

(二) 圣灵在我里面重生了我。

(三) 神再造了我﹔我被重构,成为新的人。

(四) 现在神宣告﹕我是义人。

(五) 神将基督里的义 (圣洁) 归算给我。

保罗书信与雅各布书并不矛盾。

(a) Jesus paid the full price.

(b) The Holy Spirit gave me new birth.

(c) God re-constituted me righteous.

(d) Now God pronounces me righteous.

(e) God imputes to me Christ’s righteousness.  Paul and James do not contradict.

五。立嗣 (成为神的儿女) 。

  1. Adoption: God receives us as his sons (children).

罗8:14-17

因为凡被神的灵引导的都是神的儿子。

你们所受的不是奴仆的心,仍旧害怕﹔所受的乃是儿子的心,因此我们呼叫 “阿

爸,父” 。

圣灵与我们的新同证我们是神的儿女﹔

既是儿女,便是后嗣,就是神的后嗣,和基督同作后嗣。如果我们和祂一同受苦,也必和祂一同得荣耀。

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

六。成圣。

  1. Sanctification

圣灵赐信徒力量,好叫我们治死罪 – 向罪说“不﹗”,和向神活。

The Holy Spirit enables me to say “No!” to sin, and to say “Yes!” to God.

基督徒与非基督徒有什么不同﹖

  • 基督徒诚实地面对自己的罪。
  • 基督徒懂得如何处理罪﹕就是,跑到十字架面前。
  • 基督徒在克服罪的权势上,会有进步。

The 3 differences about a Christian:

(a) a Christian is honest about sin;

(b) a Christian knows what to do about sin – turn to the cross; and

(c) a Christian makes progress out of sin.

七。圣徒的坚忍。

  1. Perseverance.

圣灵保守每一位神所拣选,每一位在基督里的人,保守他们在基督里直到永远。

The Holy Spirit keeps everyone whom God chooses, who is in Christ: the Holy Spirit keeps him/her in Christ forever.

罗 Rom. 8:29, 30

预先定下的人,又着他们来﹔所召来的人,又称他们为义﹔所称为义的人,

又叫他们得荣耀。

约 John 10:28, 29

我又赐给他们永生,他们永不灭亡,谁也不能从我手里把他们夺去。

我父把羊赐给我,他比万有都大,谁也不能从我父手里把他们夺去。

and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

注﹕这与福音派中 “信徒的永远安稳” 的教义不一样。

Note: “The doctrine of the perseverance of the saints” is not the same as “the doctrine of the eternity security of the believer.”

八。得荣耀。

Glorification:

我死后就到耶稣那里。在天堂,我将有一个新的,荣耀的身体。

在永恒里,有新天新地。

When I die, I go to where Jesus is.  In heaven, I will have a new body, there will be a new heaven, and a new earth.
