我心灵得安宁

撒但虽来侵，众试炼虽来临，

这首圣诗（hymn），不久由贝利斯（Philip P. Bliss，1838-1876），这位极有天赋的名圣乐作曲家，谱上曲而广为流传。这首圣诗的调名，就取用船名：Ville du Havre。
全诗歌共四节，每节唱时都加上副歌。第一节似乎有保罗的口气：“……我无论在什么景况都可以知足，这是我已经学会了。＂（《腓立比书》4：11）
第二节像旧约约伯的遭遇，受撒但攻击，又有试炼临到，但主早已知道他的无助，就先舍命拯救。试想，那没有主基督的人，在遭患难的时候，是何等无助与孤单！
第三节回想到自己罪得释放的欢畅，就转而开始敬拜赞美神，好像大卫的祷词：我的心哪，你当赞美神！作者就因注目在神的慈爱和恩惠上而得到平安。
最后，在敬拜中，不但看见《帖撒罗尼迦前书》四章主再回来的景象，他也呼求主快快回来，因为到那时，他就可以亲眼看见他所信靠的主耶稣，并要与心爱的儿女们永远团聚。
