慈愛牧羊人，榮耀大君王：韩德尔的弥赛亚（中英文）_下

1. God will shake the heavens、the earth、the sea and the dry land(and all nations)上帝要震动天地、沧海、旱地和万国。God is in control of history上帝掌管历史的：eventually Persia was defeated by the Greeks波斯至终由希腊人打败了。Empires rise and fall地上的国兴衰that’s inevitable是必然的。But God remains king forever但上帝为王直到永远。And while Jesus died on the cross当耶稣基督来在十字架上死的时候，there was earthquake有地震。Jesus‘ death had consequences for this universe耶稣的死对整个宇宙带来宇宙性的后果的。And《Hebrews》12:26-28 tell us《希伯来书》第十二章第26-28节告诉我们：God will once more in the future shake the heavens and the earth that the present world will cease上帝将来还要再一次地震动天地，目前的世界到那个时候就结束了。
2. And The desire of the nations will come，Haggai tells us然后万国的羡慕、万国的珍宝必要前来（哈该告诉我们）。In 《Ezra》6在《以斯拉记》第六章：King Darius followed Cyrus’earlier decree and he ordered the gold and silver vessels be returned to the Temple in Jerusalem which the Babylon is took大利乌王就根据古列王的谕令、吩咐，把巴比伦人从圣殿夺去的金器银器都还到耶路撒冷的圣殿去。And he ordered the materials are for building the Temple be supplied to the Jews他也下令建造圣殿所需的，要供给给犹太人。The gold and silver of the nations will come列国的金银都要来。《Revelation》21:24、26《启示录》二十一章24到26节：In the future heavenly Jerusalem到了天上耶路撒冷的时候，Jesus will call all nations and all kings耶稣基督要召聚万国万王；And nations and kings will bring their glory into the heavenly Jerusalem万国万王要把他们的荣耀带进天上的耶路撒冷。
3. 《Malachi》3:1《玛拉基书》第三章第1节——Bass Recitative(continued)男低音继续唱，唱出宣叙调：The Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple你们所寻求的主耶和华必忽然进入祂的圣殿；even the messenger of the covenant whom ye delight in就是立约的使者，就是你们所仰慕的，快要来到。Behold,He shall come,the Lord will come into his temple上帝要来到他的圣殿；Jesus’ temple耶稣基督的圣殿；We are the temple我们就是那圣殿。
4. 《Malachi》3:2《玛拉基书》三章第2节——Bass Air男低音咏叹调：But who may abide the day of His coming，who shall stand when He appeareth祂来的日子，谁能当得起呢？祂显现的时候，谁能立得住呢？The Bass Solo picks up tempo男低音的独唱加快，Picks all the way to“prestissimo”跑到尽快、尽速。For He is like a refiner’s fire因为耶和华就好像炼金之人的火。Then the Choir come and sing然后诗班来合唱，G minor G 小调——很高的声音Very very high note.《Malachi》3:3《玛拉基书》第三章第3节：And He shall purify the sons of Levi祂必洁净利未人，that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness他们就凭公义献供物给耶和华。
5. Might background of《Malachi》3 is this那么《玛拉基书》第三章的背景是什么呢？BC主前458年，Ezra returned to Jerusalem以斯拉回到耶路撒冷了。445.BC，十三年之后，主前445年，尼希米也回到耶路撒冷。The prophet Malachi prophesied during this period先知玛拉基就是在这段时期做先知说预言的。Ezra、Nehemiah and Malachi all three confronted the sins of the Jews以斯拉、尼希米、玛拉基都面责犹太人的罪：They married foreign wives他们娶了外邦人为妻；they neglected the tithe他们忽略了十一奉献；the priests were degenerate祭司们腐败；and they committed sins of social injustice也犯了社会不公义的罪。In sum，they broke God’s covenant换言之，他们违背了上帝的约。
6. The message of《Malachi》is《玛拉基书》的信息是：Even though they violate the covenant他们虽然违背了约，God keeps the covenant上帝守约的，He still loves them祂还是爱他们的——《Malachi》1:2-5《玛拉基书》第一章2到第5节。And so《Malachi》’s message is所以《玛拉基书》的信息就是：repent, or else you will come under God’s curse你们要认罪悔改，否则必遭受上帝的咒诅。
7. God’s people were disillusioned and discouraged上帝的子民失意、失望，they doubted God’s promises他们相信上帝的应许：They experienced poverty、drought、economic hardship他们所经历的是贫穷、经济上的困难——干旱之地；They were disillusioned with God他们对上帝失望；They were indifferent to God’s promises他们对上帝的应许漠不关心；They even cynically charged God：where is your justice他们甚至乎控告上帝说：你的公义在哪里呢——《Malachi》2:17《玛拉基书》第二章第17节。
8. God’s response上帝的回应: Malachi 3:1《玛拉基书》第三章第1节：The Lord whom ye seek,shall suddenly come to his temple,even the messenger of the covenant,whom ye delight in;Behold,He shall come你们所寻求的耶和华必忽然进入祂的殿；约的使者，就是你们所仰慕的，快要来到。
9. God is not indifferent toward good and evil上帝不是对善跟恶漠不关心的的。He does differentiate good and evil祂分辨善恶的！And He will come soon to judge、to refine and purge his people上帝必很快就要来到审判，要炼洁净祂的子民的。However when God comes to judge,he will first judge his own people但是上帝来执行公义的时候，祂首先要审判他自己的子民！Judge begins to the church审判是从教会开始的。Can we accept it and endure it我们能够接受吗？能够经得起吗？
10. （Malachi 3:2、3《玛拉基书》第三章第2、3节）Who may abide the day of His coming,and who shall stand when He appeareth? For He is a refiner’s fire祂来的日子，谁能当得起呢？祂显现的时候，谁能立得住呢？For He is like a refiner’s fire因为祂如炼金之人的火。And He shall purify the sons of Levi然后祂必洁净利未人，that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness好叫他们能够凭公义献供物给耶和华。The Lord will cleanse his Temple——the church主必洁净祂的殿——教会,and those who serve at the Temple他必洁净服事他的仆人们。Judgment begins with the house of God审判是从上帝的家开始的！
11. As the New Testament church我们是新约的教会；we are more glorious than the Old Testament people of Israel我们比旧约的犹太人更加的荣耀：We have Jesus——the true Tabernacle、the true Temple、the true High Priest我们有耶稣，祂是真会幕、真圣殿、真大祭司；But we also bear a greater responsibility但是我们的责任就更加的大，God requires more from us上帝对我们的要求就更高了。
12. Brothers and sisters，this is how we should read《Old Testment》弟兄姐妹，我们要这样来读《旧约》圣经的：It’s like putting on stereo earphones to listen to music就好像我们听音乐要带上一个立体声的一套的耳机一样——Grace and judgment恩典和审判；words of comfort、words of warning安慰的话、警告的话；And they focus on Jesus这些话都集中在耶稣基督身上。So let us worship with the fear of the Lord所以我们要存敬畏的心来敬拜。Because our God is not only a righteous Savior, He is also a refiner’s fire因为我们的主不单是公义的救主，祂也是炼金之人的火。

1. Do Not Fear, Trust God In All Difficulties不要怕，在一切难处要信靠上帝；Because The Son-Messiah Is Born因为上帝的儿子弥赛亚诞生了！He is True Light That Shines in the Darkness祂是黑暗中照耀的真光——（Scene 3’s Theme第三景的主题）
2. The Core text for Scene 3在第三景的核心的经文是：《Isaiah》7:14 and 9:6《以赛亚书》第七章14节跟第九章第6节：Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son必有一童贞女女怀孕生子，and shall call his name Emmanue—— God with us给他起名叫以马内利——『上帝与我们同在』。For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given，and the government shall be upon His shoulder因有一婴孩为我们而生，有一子赐给我们；政权必担在祂的肩头上。And His name shall be called Wonderful、Counselor、the Mighty God、the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace他名称为奇妙、策士、全能的上帝、永在的父、和平的君。
3. The Context of （《Isaiah》） 7:14我们来看《以赛亚书》第七章14节的背景：We know that the Kingdom after Solomon split into north and south我们知道所罗门之后以色列国分为南国、北国；South：Judah；North：Israel南国是犹大；北国是以色列。Now Northern Israel has now allied with Syria the neighbor to resist superpower Assyria现在北国以色列跟北边的邻近的国家叙利亚结盟，要抵挡大国亚述。Now they declare war against Southern Judah现在他们向南国犹大宣战。And so the king of Judah Ahaz was threatened所以犹大王亚哈斯就感觉到威胁的。The message of Isaiah the prophet先知以赛亚的信息是is a message of judgment and of a message of hope是审判的信息、也是盼望的信息。Don’t fear不要怕——Verse 4第4节；Israel and Syria will be destroyed以色列国、叙利亚必灭亡的。And this prophecy was fulfilled这个预言应验了！BC 732，Syria was destroyed主前（公元前）732年叙利亚灭亡了；Israel destroyed 722 BC十年之后——主前722年北国以色列也亡国——被亚述掳去了。God’s message to Judah上帝对南国犹大的信息是——Verse 5、9第5、第9节：Trust Him，be firm信靠上帝，要坚强。And Sign is A virgin will conceive and give birth to a son这个征兆就是童贞女要怀孕、要生子。
4. This prophecy，no matter how it was fulfilled in Isaiah’s time or in old testment’s time，was ultimately fulfilled by the virgin birth of Jesus Christ——童贞女生子这个预言不论在旧约时期怎么应验，至终是透过耶稣基督降生应验的——《Matthew》1:22、23《马太福音》第一章22到23节。
5. Now The Virgin Birth of Christ also fulfills other prophecy耶稣基督是童贞女玛利亚所生也应验其他的预言的，Such as《Isaiah》40:9譬如说《以赛亚书》第四十章第9节——Now we come back to《Isaiah》40 again韩德尔现在又回去、回到《以赛亚书》第四十章：O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion, get thee up into the high mountain报好消息给锡安的啊，你要登高山；O thou that tellest good tidings to Jerusalem，lift up thy voice with strength；lift it up，be not afraid报好消息给耶路撒冷的啊，你要极力扬声，扬声不要惧怕；say unto the cities of Judah,Behold your God要对犹大的城邑说：看哪，你们的上帝！《Isaiah》60:2&3《以赛亚书》第六十章2到第3节：behold, darkness shall cover the earth看哪，黑暗要遮盖大地，and gross darkness cover the people幽暗遮盖万民；but the Lord shall arise upon thee耶和华却要兴起显现照耀你；and His glory shall be seen upon thee祂的荣耀要起来显在你的身上。and the Gentiles shall come to thy light,kings to the brightness of thy rising万国要来就你的光，君王要来就你兴起所发现的光辉。The incarnation of Jesus Christ is good news to Judah and Jerusalem耶稣基督道成肉身对犹大、对耶路撒冷是好消息；in other words，good news to all God’s people who fear him and wait for his salvation对那些敬畏上帝的人、等候祂的救恩来到的子民，是大好信息。The incarnation of Christ is light for people in darkness基督道成肉身对那些走在黑暗中的人是真光。He came to destroy death and the work of the Devil耶稣基督来，要灭绝死亡的权势和魔鬼的势力的——And so in all difficuilties even death所以在任何难处，包括死亡。
6. Trust the Lord Jesus Christ,and not human forces要信靠耶稣基督，不靠人间的势力。He is light in darkness祂是黑暗中的真光。So the prophecy of 《Isaiah》7 and 9 was fulfilled：Jesus came所以《以赛亚书》第七章、第九章的预言应验了：耶稣基督来到世界上了——《John》8：12耶稣基督在《约翰福音》第八章第12节说：I am the light of the world我就是世上的光。He that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness跟随我走的必不在黑暗中行…。“Unto Us This Child Is Born这一位婴孩为我们已经诞生了”——《Isaiah》9:6《以赛亚书》第九章第6节。Chorus that ends scene 3 in《Messiah》《弥赛亚》的圣诞部分第三景“有一婴孩为我们而生”来结束的——诗班的大合唱。

弟兄姐妹：今年的圣诞节，你跟我要怎样来敬拜这位伟大的上帝、荣耀的救主呢？

第一．让我们领受上帝救恩的应许Brothers and sisiters，how shall we Worship this Great God and Glorious Savior this Christmas this year? First Let us Receive God’s Promise of Salvation让我们领受上帝救恩的应许。因为这个应许已经实现了、已经应验了Because this Promise Has Been Fulfilled.The Day of the Lord Has Come主耶和华的日子已经来到。Receive Jesus接受耶稣基督！Let Us Worship also with the Fear of the Lord同时我们要用敬畏上帝的心来敬拜他。The Lord is also Judge上帝也是我们的审判官。And his judgement begins with the house of God他的审判是以神的家开始的。Receive his sanctification purging（56：35）of the Church我们要降服在他成圣的工作之下。And thirdly第三方面In all things，Do Not Fear，Do Not Worry在凡事上不要怕，不要忧虑。In All Difficulties Trust God，Trust our Lord Jesus Christ在一切的难处上，信靠上帝，信靠主耶稣基督。Because The Messiah-the son Is Born因为，弥赛亚-神子降生了。He is The True Light That Shines in Darkness祂是真光，照耀在黑暗中。He will destroy dark（57：24）他要胜过一切的黑暗。In the future，yes；today in our life是的，将来必定胜过；今天，在我们的生命中，也要得胜的。All glory to God一切荣耀归于上帝。Glory to God in the highest,and on earth peace among those who is on favour of him在至高之处荣耀归与上帝，在地上平安归与他所喜悦的人（路2:14）。

Let us pray我们祷告：

 Father we worship you天父我们敬拜你！Our Lord Jesus Christ,we adore you耶稣基督我们仰慕你。Because you have come因为你已经来。You took on human nature你穿上了人性，Humbling in the manger谦卑地降生在马槽；That baby born in manger is the glorious judge and savior但是那位降生在马槽的主，你是荣耀的审判官、荣耀的救主。We can not endure your coming ，but only  because your blood  we join to the father我们担当不起主的来到，但是因为耶稣基督的宝血，我们可以亲近父上帝。Thank you for the amazing grace为这个奇异恩典献上感谢；Accept our prayers请接纳我们的祷告，In Jesus’ name奉耶稣基督的圣名求，阿们！

Glory to God in the highest荣耀归与至高之处的上帝（路2:14）。

1. 【路2:8-11】在伯利恒之野地里有牧羊的人，夜间按着更次看守羊群。有主的使者站在他们旁边，主的荣光四面照着他们，牧羊的人就甚惧怕。那天使对他们说：“不要惧怕，我报给你们大喜的信息，是关乎万民的。因今天在戴维的城里，为你们生了救主，就是主基督。【路2:13-14】忽然有一大队天兵同那天使赞美神说： “在至高之处荣耀归与神，在地上平安归与他所喜悦的人（有古卷作“喜悦归与人”）。”
2. 【亚9:9-10】锡安的民哪，应当大大喜乐！耶路撒冷的民哪，应当欢呼！看哪，你的王来到你这里，他是公义的，幷且施行拯救，谦谦和和地骑着驴，就是骑着驴的驹子。我必除灭以法莲的战车和耶路撒冷的战马，争战的弓也必除灭。他必向列国讲和平，他的权柄必从这海管到那海，从大河管到地极。
