We are now conclude Elliot article number five， in his critique of gospel …最后我们把Elliot 的第五篇文章最后的结论说清楚。
Keller himself claims this is all preliminary to a “longer explanation of the person and work of Christ.” 凯勒坚称他这个都是初步的，后面还有“更长地解释基督的位格和工作”。And what is Keller’s “real” gospel presentation? 而凯勒“真正的”福音是什么呢？In an essay titled The Gospel in All Its Forms，在他的另外一篇的文章《在各种形式的福音》 ，Keller refers to “gospel” as something that people “agree on” in their generation or culture. 凯勒说福音是什么呢？就是人们在每一代，或者一个文化里面所同意的东西。He agrees with the late theologian C. H. Dodd (one of the men who laid the groundwork for the heresy of justification by faith plus works embodied in the so-called New Perspective on Paul) 凯勒与C. H. Dodd是同意的，（而C. H. Dodd就是为了这个保罗新观的异端，就是人的称义需要信心也需要行为打根基的一个神学家）that there is one “consensus gospel” in the Bible. 凯勒跟C. H. Dodd都同意圣经里面有一个“共识的福音”。”So yes，” says Keller， “there must be one gospel， and yet there are clearly different forms in which that one gospel can be expressed. 凯勒说是的，必然有一个福音，但是有不同的形式，这一个福音有不同的形式表达This is the Bible’s own way of speaking of the gospel， and we should stick with it.” 这个圣经怎么讲论福音，我们也应该守住。
The “form” in which Keller expresses the “gospel” above deforms it into something unrecognizable as the one true Gospel. 凯勒所讲的“形式”就把“福音”毁容了，他叫我们不能够认出真正的福音是什么了。Once again， Keller shows that what is really important to him is not the Gospel message but making it acceptable to the unregenerated mind through “cultural contextualization”. 再次凯勒证明，对他来说最重要的不是福音信息的本身，乃是要让那些不信的、没有重生的人的思想让福音能够成为接受的，透过“文化中的处境化”。This， as we saw in an earlier article， produces a “gospel product” that may be attractive to the mind and heart of some unregenerated men， but which is stripped of the Biblical essentials， and robbed of Divine power and authority. 我们前面已经说过了，这样子他就产生一个福音产品，对某一些没有重生的人的思想是很有吸引力的，但是把福音的本质，上帝的大能和权柄都挪走了。It is not the true Gospel， 这个不是真的福音，which is “the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). 真的福音是上帝的大能，要拯救一切要相信的。

I will briefly outline McKnight ‘s points.下面我就很简单地说一说McKnight 的要点。
How Do Churches Descend to such a state?教会怎么沦落到这个地步？
Another generation inherits the truth， now encapsulated in various methods and procedures and ideologies.
1、The pure，unadulterated Word of God. God reveals His Truth to a people. 他说历史上证明，第一步就是上帝把祂的真理向一群人显示，纯正的神的话。hose who receive that Truth， eager to propagate the truth， develop methods of communication， programs， organizations， methodologies， to publish that Truth.那些领受了真理的人，很热心地想要传讲这个真理；所以，他们就发明了一套传讲的方法、项目、组织、方法论等等。
2、Another generation inherits the truth， now encapsulated in various methods and procedures and ideologies. 第二代就承受了这个真理，但是是放在不同的方法跟程序和意识形态中的真理。
3、That is passed to yet another generation，现在第三代来了也承受了， each one of which enlarges the footprint of what has been revealed. 每一代就把前几代所传下来的真理，它的脚印又扩大。But much of that footprint is no longer what was revealed， 但是这个脚印里面，很多东西都不是原来的真理、原来的启示，but rather the methods，and the ways，and the interpretations， and the ideas that have evolved out of that Truth. 乃是什么呢？乃是真理演绎出来的方法、道路、解释、概念。
4、That is passed to another generation，to whom the Truth becomes simply a possession they’ve inherited but never experienced. 好了，到了第四步的时候，又有另外一代的人承受了真理，但是这些只不过是他承继的一个产业，他们从来没有经历过。They have the forms，they have the means，the programs， and organizations， and they are committed to the propagation of those ways， those means， those programs. 他们有外表的形式、有项目、有组织；他们也委身了要传这些的方法、这些的项目。
And in the course of the efforts， somehow or another， Truth itself – the Truth that God revealed – gets lost in all of man’s ideas and inventions to promote it. 在这个过程里面，神的真理本身就失去了，剩下的就是人的概念跟方法。
I’m going to read from John McKnight speech 我把McKnight的演讲就读到这里。And I think it is enough to show that Keller is simply at the point of process of 20 century liberalism and the 20th and 21st century, the emergent church and neurological system and post and service liberalism我们可以看到凯勒就是20世纪的自由派，还有20世纪、21世纪的新福音主义；还有浮现中的教会emergent church，还有后保守自由派的整个大过程中的一点而已。The church of Jesus Christ must wake up and present the true Gospel from the Bible.主耶稣的教会必须要警醒醒过来，只传讲纯正的圣经里的福音。
