I will make you exceedingly fruitful\uff0cand I will make you into nations\uff0cand kings shall come from you\u4ece\u6b64\u4ee5\u540e\uff0c\u4f60\u7684\u540d\u4e0d\u518d\u53eb\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\uff0c\u8981\u53eb\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u5df2\u7acb\u4f60\u4f5c\u591a\u56fd\u4e4b\u7236\u3002\u6211\u5fc5\u4f7f\u4f60\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u6781\u5176\u7e41\u591a\uff1b\u56fd\u5ea6\u4ece\u4f60\u800c\u7acb\uff0c\u541b\u738b\u4ece\u4f60\u800c\u51fa\u3002Verse 7\uff1aAnd I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant\uff0cto be God to you and to your offspring after you\u6211\u8981\u4e0e\u4f60\u5e76\u4f60\u4e16\u4e16\u4ee3\u4ee3\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u575a\u5b9a\u6211\u7684\u7ea6\uff0c\u4f5c\u6c38\u8fdc\u7684\u7ea6\uff0c\u662f\u8981\u4f5c\u4f60\u548c\u4f60\u540e\u88d4\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d\u3002And have seen the ups and downs of Abraham\u2019s journey of faith\u6211\u4eec\u5df2\u7ecf\u770b\u5230<strong>\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u4fe1\u5fc3\u7684\u65c5\u7a0b\u7684\u8d77\u4f0f\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u300aGenesis\u300b<\/strong><strong>15<\/strong><strong>\u300a\u521b\u4e16\u7eaa\u300b\u7b2c\u5341\u4e94\u7ae0\uff1a<\/strong>God had vowed to Abram his love and his promise\u4e0a\u5e1d\u53d1\u8a93\u3001\u5e94\u8bb8\u3001\u4fdd\u8bc1\u4ed6\u5bf9\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\u7684\u7231\u7684<strong>\u2014\u2014the ceremony of the torch of fire passing between the pieces of animal meat<\/strong>\u5929\u4e0a\u6765\u7684\u706b\u628a\u8d70\u8fc7\u4e86\u8089\u5757\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4eea\u5f0f\uff1band through this ceremony God saying<strong> God will NEVER be unfaithful to his covenant<\/strong>\u900f\u8fc7\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4eea\u5f0f\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u53d1\u8a93\u8bf4\u4ed6\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u4f1a\u5931\u7ea6\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u300a\u521b\u4e16\u8bb0\u300b\u7b2c\u5341\u516d\u7ae0:<\/strong>But then we come to Chapter 16\u4f46\u662f\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u5230\u7b2c\u5341\u516d\u7ae0\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0cwe find Abram and Sarai his wife in foolishness\uff1bthey felt and consequences was disasters\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\u8ddf\u4ed6\u7684\u59bb\u5b50\u7684\u611a\u8822\uff1b\u7ed3\u679c\u4ed6\u4eec\u8dcc\u5012\u4e86\u2014\u2014\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\u8ddf\u6492\u83b1\u60e8\u8d25\u3002They walked ahead of God\u2019s time<strong>\u4ed6\u4eec\u8d70\u5728\u4e0a\u5e1d\u65f6\u95f4\u7684\u524d\u9762<\/strong>\u2014\u2014\u8dd1\u5f97\u592a\u5feb\u4e86\uff1bthey use man\u2019s secular methods to solve problems<strong>\u4ed6\u4eec\u7528\u4e86\u662f\u4e16\u754c\u4e0a\u7684\u4eba\u7684\u4e16\u4fd7\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u6765\u89e3\u51b3\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u300a\u521b\u4e16\u8bb0\u300b\u7b2c\u5341\u4e03\u7ae0<\/strong><strong>\uff1a<\/strong>Now we come to Chapter 17\u73b0\u5728\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u5230\u7b2c\u5341\u4e03\u7ae0\u4e86\uff1a13 years have passed by\u5341\u4e09\u5e74\u7684\u5149\u9634\u8fc7\u53bb\u4e86\uff0cAbraham is now 99 years old\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\u73b0\u572899\u5c81\u4e86\u3002Ishmael is beginning grow up\u4ee5\u5b9e\u9a6c\u5229\u5df2\u7ecf\u5f00\u59cb\u957f\u5927\u4e86\u3002What was happening in Abram\u2019s mind and in his heart\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\u7684\u5fc3\u91cc\u9762\u5728\u60f3\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e1c\u897f\u5462\uff1fDoes he know the mind of God\u4ed6\u77e5\u9053\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5fc3\u610f\u5417\uff1fOr is he preparing for Ishmael to receive the inheritance\u8fd8\u662f\u8bf4\u4ed6\u5728\u7b79\u5907\u4ee5\u5b9e\u9a6c\u5229\u6765\u7ee7\u627f\u4ed6\u7684\u5bb6\u4e1a\u5462\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>Have these been a good time\u3001never a happy time for God to intervene into our lives and meet us where we it is always his plan to do so in his good IN<\/strong><strong>\u300aGENESIS\u300b17\u5728\u300a\u521b\u4e16\u8bb0\u300b\u7b2c\u5341\u4e03\u7ae0\uff1aWHEN GOD COMES,WHAT DOES HE COME TO DO AND WHAT DOES HE NOT DO\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6765\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u7942\u4f1a\u4f5c\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u7942\u4e0d\u4f5c\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking at\u300aGenesis\u300b17 in this context\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u4ece\u4e0a\u4e0b\u6587\u770b\uff08\u300a\u521b\u4e16\u8bb0\u300b\uff09\u6574\u7ae0\u7684\u7b2c\u5341\u4e03\u7ae0\uff1a<\/p>\n<p><strong>First what God does not do<\/strong><strong>\u9996\u5148\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u505a\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>[1]<\/strong>Very interesting\u3001very revealing\u3001very important\u5f88\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u2026\u663e\u51fa\u4e00\u4e9b\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u539f\u5219\uff1aWhat does God not do\u795e\u4e0d\u4f1a\u505a\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1fFirst\uff0cwhen we sin\uff0cGod us\u6211\u4eec\u542c\u5230\u8fd9\u4e9b\u8bdd\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u6709\u76fc\u671b\u5417\uff1fYes there is hope\u6709\u7684\uff0c\u6709\u76fc\u671b\u7684\u3002There is the Gospel in the Old Testament<strong>\u300a\u65e7\u7ea6\u5723\u7ecf\u300b\u91cc\u9762\u662f\u6709\u798f\u97f3\u4fe1\u606f\u7684\uff01<\/strong>But God does not lower his standards\u4f46\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u4f1a\u964d\u4f4e\u4ed6\u7684\u6807\u51c6\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[2]God doesn\u2019t need our help to accomplish his purpose<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u5e2e\u7942\u7684\u5fd9\u6765\u6210\u5c31\u7942\u7684\u8ba1\u5212\u7684\uff1a<\/strong>God doesn\u2019t need Abram\u2019s help\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\u6765\u5e2e\u4ed6\u7684\u5fd9\u3002Our help often gets in the way that goes to opposite to God\u2019s plan<strong>\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5e2e\u5fd9\u5f80\u5f80\u662f<\/strong><strong>\u8d8a\u5e2e\u8d8a\u5fd9\uff0c\u662f\u8fdd\u80cc\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u8ba1\u5212\uff0c\u662f\u8dd1\u76f8\u53cd\u7684\u65b9\u5411\u7684\u3002<\/strong>So God doesn\u2019t need our help\u6240\u4ee5\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u6211\u4eec\u5e2e\u4ed6\u5fd9\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[3]God does not give up on us<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5e76\u6ca1\u6709\u653e\u5f03\u6211\u4eec\uff1a<\/strong>He did not give up on Abram\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6ca1\u6709\u653e\u5f03\u4e9a\u4f2f\u5170\uff1band he does not give up on his people\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u4f1a\u6487\u5f03\u4ed6\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[4]<\/strong>God also does not change his plan<strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e5f\u4e0d\u4f1a\u6539\u53d8\u7942\u7684\u8ba1\u5212\uff1b<\/strong>He simply moves forward<strong>\u7942\u7ee7\u7eed\u524d\u8fdb\u5c31\u662f\u4e86<\/strong>\u2014\u2014As a sovereign Lord, He moves forward his plan of salvation\u2014\u2014<strong>\u7942\u662f\u638c\u6743\u7684\u4e3b\u5bb0\uff0c\u4ed6\u7ee7\u7eed\u524d\u8fdb\uff0c\u6210\u5c31\u7942\u7684\u6551\u8d4e\u8ba1\u5212\u7684\uff1a<\/strong> Now for us\uff0cit\u2019s hard to understand how all these four things simultaneous at the same time\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u8bf4\uff0c\u597d\u50cf\u5f88\u96be\u660e\u767d\u8fd9\u56db\u4ef6\u4e8b\u662f\u600e\u4e48\u540c\u65f6\u4f1a\u53d1\u751f\u7684\u5462\uff1fGod does not lower his standards\uff0cyet he moves on with his plan\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u964d\u4f4e\u4ed6\u7684\u6807\u51c6\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u4ed6\u7ee7\u7eed\u4ed6\u7684\u8ba1\u5212\u3002He doesn\u2019t need our help\uff0cbut he doesn\u2019t give us up\u4ed6\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u6211\u4eec\u5e2e\u5fd9\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u53c8\u6ca1\u6709\u6487\u5f03\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u3002We serve a wonderful
