Away<\/strong><strong>\u2014\u2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u4fe1\u5fc3\u4e4b\u65c5\u7b2c\u5341\u4e8c\u7bc7\u4fe1\u606f<\/strong><strong>Abraham<\/strong><strong>\u2019s Journey of Faith Message No.1<\/strong><strong>2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u300e<\/strong><strong>GOD\u2019S SOVEREIGNTY AND MAN\u2019S RESPONSIBILITY<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u4e3b\u6743\u548c\u4eba\u7684\u8d23\u4efb<\/strong><strong>\u300f<\/strong><strong>\u2014\u2014<\/strong><strong>GOD ALWAYS REMEMBERS<\/strong><strong>\u795e<\/strong><strong>\u7942\u6c38\u8fdc\u7eaa\u5ff5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u7ecf\u6587\uff1a\u300a\u521b\u4e16\u8bb0\u300bGenesis 17\uff1a1-14<\/strong><strong>\u300aGenesis\u300b17:1-14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u4e3b\u8bb2\uff1a\u6797\u6148\u4fe1\u7267\u5e08<\/strong><strong>_<\/strong><strong>\u6821\u5bf9\uff1a\u5218\u52a0\u7acb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0[II]<\/strong><strong>\u5168\u6743\u7684\u4e0a\u4e3b\u8bbe\u7acb\u7942\u7684\u7ea6THE SOVEREIGN LORD ESTABLISHES HIS COVENANT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>[1]<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4eb2\u81ea\u8bbe\u7acb\u7942\u7684\u7ea6:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First of all we\u2019ll see from these verses\u9996\u5148\u6211\u4eec\u4ece\u8fd9\u51e0\u8282\u7ecf\u6587\u770b\u5230\u2014\u2014verses1-7 and verse 9\u4ece\u7b2c1-7\u8282\u548c\u7b2c9\u8282\u770b\u5230\uff1aIt is God himself who established his covenant\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4eb2\u81ea\u8bbe\u7acb\u7942\u7684\u7ea6\u7684\u3002 Verse 2\u7b2c\u4e8c\u8282 \u2026 <strong>that I may make my covenant between me and you\u6211\u5c31\u4e0e\u4f60\u7acb\u7ea6<\/strong>\u2014\u2014<strong>\u7acb\u6211\u7684\u7ea6\u2026\u2026\u3002<\/strong>Verse 7\u7b2c\u4e03\u8282 <strong>And I will establish my covenant between me and your offspring after you\u6211\u8981\u4e0e\u4f60\u5e76\u4f60\u4e16\u4e16\u4ee3\u4ee3\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u575a\u7acb\u6211\u7684\u7ea6\u2026\u2026<\/strong>\u3002You see that Man doesn\u2019t reach out to God to establish this relationship\uff08\u201c\u7acb\u7ea6\u201d\uff09\u4e0d\u662f\u4eba\u4f38\u51fa\u624b\u6765\uff0c\u4e0e\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8bbe\u7acb\u8fd9\u5173\u7cfb\u7684\u3002The covenant is not the result of negotiations between God and you\u7ea6\u4e0d\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u548c\u4f60\u8c08\u5224\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u5b9a\u4e00\u4e2a\u5408\u540c\u7684\u2014\u2014\u4e0d\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\u5b50\u7684\u3002It is God all planed it\u2014\u2014only God\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u552f\u6709\u7942\u5148\u8ba1\u5212\u597d\uff0cand comes to man to establish it\u7136\u540e\u7942\u6765\u5230\u4eba\u95f4\uff0c\u4e0e\u4eba\u8bbe\u7acb\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7ea6\u7684\u3002In eternity\uff0cGod planned it unilaterally\u5728\u6c38\u6052\u91cc\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5355\u65b9\u9762\u8ba1\u5212\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7ea6\u7684\u2014\u2014does not need our help\u6211\u4eec\u5e2e\u4e0d\u4e0a\u5fd9\u7684\u3002And then in God\u2019s time\uff0cGod established it also unilaterally\u5728\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u5b9a\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u7942\u6765\u5355\u65b9\u9762\u8bbe\u7acb\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7ea6\u7684\u3002Man does not have a hand in its planning and establishment.Man only responds and obeys\u4eba\u6ca1\u6709\u53c2\u4e0e\u8ba1\u5212\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7ea6\uff0c\u6ca1\u6709\u53c2\u4e0e\u7ea6\u7684\u8bbe\u7acb\u2014\u2014\u4eba\u662f\u56de\u5e94\u3001\u4eba\u662f\u987a\u670d\u3002We are servants\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u4ec6\u4eba\uff1bGod is Lord\u7942\u662f\u4e3b\uff1bDo not forget this principle\u4e0d\u8981\u5fd8\u8bb0\u8fd9\u4e2a\u539f\u5219\u3002God established covenant\u662f\u795e\u8bbe\u7acb\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7ea6\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[2]The covenant is an eternal covenant<\/strong><strong>\u8fd9\u7ea6\u662f\u6c38\u8fdc\u7684\u7ea6\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From these verses\u4ece\u8fd9\u4e9b\u7684\u7ecf\u6587\uff0cthe covenant is an eternal covenant\u8fd9\u7ea6\u662f\u6c38\u8fdc\u7684\u7ea6\u3002It is a covenant which God made with all of Abraham\u2019s descendants\u201c\u7ea6\u201d\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0e\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u548c\u4ed6\u6240\u6709\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u6240\u8bbe\u7acb\u7684\u3002(\u300aGenesis\u300bChapter 17)Verse 7 again\uff08\u300a\u5723\u7ecf\u300b\u7b2c\u5341\u4e03\u7ae0\uff09\u7b2c\u4e03\u8282\uff1a<strong>I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant\u6211\u8981\u4e0e\u4f60\u5e76\u4f60\u4e16\u4e16\u4ee3\u4ee3\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u575a\u7acb\u6211\u7684\u7ea6\uff0c\u4f5c\u6c38\u8fdc\u7684\u7ea6\u7684an everlasting covenant\u6c38\u8fdc\u7684\u7ea6\u3002\u300a<\/strong>Isaiah\u300b55:3 repeat this theme\u300a\u4ee5\u8d5b\u4e9a\u4e66\u300b\u4e94\u5341\u4e94\u7ae0\u7b2c3\u8282\u4e5f\u91cd\u590d\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6982\u5ff5\u3001\u8fd9\u4e2a\u9898\u76ee\u7684\uff1a<strong>Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast sure love for David\u4f60\u4eec\u5f53\u5c31\u8fd1\u6211\u6765\uff1b\u4fa7\u8033\u800c\u542c\uff0c\u5c31\u5fc5\u5f97\u6d3b\u3002\u6211\u5fc5\u4e0e\u4f60\u4eec\u7acb\u6c38\u7ea6\u2014\u2014\u6c38\u8fdc\u7684\u7ea6\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5e94\u8bb8\u5927\u536b\u90a3\u53ef\u9760\u7684\u6069\u5178\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We see here God\u2019s power and God\u2019s faithfulness\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5927\u80fd\u548c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u4fe1\u5b9e\u3002From the time of Abraham onward\uff0cGod shows that the covenant which he has established\uff0cthe salvation he is accomplishing\uff0cthe plan of salvation which he is revealing\uff0cwill never change\u4ece\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u7684\u65f6\u671f\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u2014\u2014\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5f88\u660e\u663e\u5730\u7ed9\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u89c1\uff1a\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u8bbe\u7acb\u7684\u7ea6\u662f\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\u7684\uff1b\u7942\u6240\u6210\u5c31\u7684\u6551\u6069\u662f\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\u7684\uff1b\u6240\u542f\u793a\u7684\u6551\u8d4e\u8ba1\u5212\u662f\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u4f1a\u6539\u53d8\u7684\u3002There is only one plan\u2014\u2014there is no Plan B\u6ca1\u6709\u7b2c\u4e8c\u53f7\u8ba1\u5212\u7684, no emergency plan\u6ca1\u6709\u7d27\u6025\u8ba1\u5212\u7684\u2026one plan which is unfolded ever more richly as time goes on\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e00\u4e2a\u7684\u8ba1\u5212\u968f\u7740\u65f6\u95f4\u3001\u5386\u53f2\uff0c\u4e0d\u65ad\u5730\u3001\u66f4\u4e30\u5bcc\u5730\u663e\u660e\u51fa\u6765\u3002One more thing\u8fd8\u6709\u4e00\u4ef6\u4e8b\uff1aWe see that God makes his covenant with families of those who believe him\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u89c1\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u662f\u4e0e\u4ed6\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\u7684\u5bb6\u5ead\u7acb\u7ea6\u7684\u3002Family is the basic unit in the covenant people community\u5bb6\u5ead\u662f\u6574\u4e2a\u7ea6\u7684\u7fa4\u4f53\u91cc\u9762\u6700\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u5355\u5143\u7684\u3002We will discuss this in greater detail when we come to circumcision\u4e0b\u9762\u6211\u4eec\u8ba8\u8bba\u5230\u5272\u793c\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u4f1a\u66f4\u8be6\u7ec6\u7684\u8bb2\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[3]The essential meaning of the covenant relationship is: God will be God of his people<\/strong><strong>\u201c\u7ea6\u201d\u7684\u6700\u6838\u5fc3\u610f\u4e49\uff1a<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8981\u4f5c\u4ed6\u5b50\u6c11\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d<\/strong><strong>\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From these verses\u4ece\u8fd9\u4e9b\u7684\u7ecf\u6587\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u89c1\uff0cthe essential meaning of the covenant relationship<strong>\u201c\u7ea6\u201d\u7684\u6700\u6838\u5fc3\u610f\u4e49\u5c31\u662f<\/strong>\uff1aGod will be God of his people<strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8981\u4f5c\u4ed6\u5b50\u6c11\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d<\/strong>\u2014\u2014Not a tribal God\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u90e8\u843d\u7684\u5b88\u536b\u795e\uff0cbut nevertheless their God.God made heaven and earth is their God\u4e0d\u8fc7\uff0c\u521b\u9020\u5929\u5730\u4e07\u7269\u7684\u795e\u7684\u786e\u662f\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u4e3b\u5c31\u662f\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n<p>(\u300aGenesis\u300bChapter 17) Verse 7\u7b2c\u4e03\u8282\uff1a<strong>An everlasting covenant to be God to you and to your offspring after you\u4f5c\u6c38\u8fdc\u7684\u7ea6\uff0c\u662f\u8981\u4f5c\u4f60\u548c\u4f60\u540e\u88d4\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d<\/strong>\u3002Verse 8\u7b2c\u516b\u8282\u2014\u2014\u6700\u540e:<strong> I will be their God<\/strong><strong>\u6211\u5fc5\u4f5c\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u3002\u201c<\/strong>God will be our God.We will be God\u2019s people<strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4f5c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4f5c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5b50\u6c11<\/strong>\u201d\u2014\u2014Now God repeats this principle over and over again in the Old Testament and in the New Testament\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u65ad\u7684\u5728\u300a\u65e7\u7ea6\u300b\u548c\u300a\u65b0\u7ea6\u300b\uff0c\u4e0d\u65ad\u7684\u5411\u7942\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\u8bb2\u8fd9\u53e5\u8bdd\u3002This is salvation<strong>\u8fd9\u4e2a\u662f\u6551\u6069<\/strong>\uff1bthis is God\u2019s special love\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7279\u522b\u7684\u7231\uff1bthis is how God says\u201cI love you\u201d<strong>\u8fd9\u4e2a\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8bf4\u201c\u6211\u7231\u4f60\u201d\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u3002<\/strong>In the New Testament, this love is expressed as Christ\u2019s love for his bride\u2014\u2014the church\u5728\u65b0\u7ea6\u65f6\u671f\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8fd9\u6837\u8868\u8fbe\u7942\u7684\u7231\uff1a\u57fa\u7763\u7231\u7942\u7684\u65b0\u5987\u3001\u7231\u7942\u7684\u6559\u4f1a\u7684\u3002<strong>\u201c<\/strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4f5c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1dGod is our God\u201d. Paul also repeated in\u300aCorinthians\u300bII 6:17-18\u5728\u300a\u54e5\u6797\u591a\u540e\u4e66\u300b6\uff1a17-18\u8282\u4fdd\u7f57\u4e5f\u7528\u7c7b\u4f3c\u7684\u8bf4\u6cd5\u7684\u3002\u201cCovenant\u201dis a relationship\u201c\u7ea6\u201d\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u201c\u5173\u7cfb\u201d\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[4]God makes promises of salvation to his covenant people<\/strong><strong>\uff1aGod will save them\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7ed9\u4ed6\u7684\u7ea6\u6c11\u6551\u6069\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\uff1a\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5fc5\u5b9a\u62ef\u6551\u4ed6\u4eec\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From these verses we see that \u00a0God makes promises of salvation to his people\uff1aGod will save them\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7ed9\u4ed6\u7684\u7ea6\u6c11\u4e00\u4e9b\u5e94\u8bb8\u7684\uff1a\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5fc5\u5b9a\u62ef\u6551\u4ed6\u4eec\u2014\u2014\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7ed9\u4ed6\u4eec\u6551\u6069\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\u7684\u3002Verse 2\u7b2c2\u8282 and verse 5\u7b2c5\u8282\u3001and also verse 8\u7b2c8\u8282\uff1aGod gave different promises\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7ed9\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\uff1alands\u3001descendants\u3001nations and kings\u8981\u7ed9\u4ed6\u4eec\u5730\u3001\u7ed9\u4ed6\u4eec\u540e\u88d4\u3001\u5927\u56fd\u3001\u541b\u738b\u3002Now remember in the Old Testament all these promises of God that he made concerning this life\uff1adescendants\u3001the lands and so on are symbols of spiritual blessings\u4e0d\u8981\u5fd8\u8bb0\uff0c<strong>\u5728\u65e7\u7ea6\u65f6\u671f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u5e94\u8bb8\u7684\u4e00\u4e9b\u4eca\u751f\u7684\u798f\u4efd\uff1a\u8981\u7ed9\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u540e\u88d4\u3001\u5e94\u8bb8\u4e4b\u5730\u7b49\u7b49\uff0c\u662f\u8c61\u5fb5\u7740\u5c5e\u7075\u7684\u798f\u5206\u7684\u3002<\/strong>And all that God has promised are fulfilled in Jesus Christ and his great work\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u5e94\u8bb8\u7684\u2014\u2014\u4e00\u5207\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\uff0c\u90fd\u5728\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u8eab\u4e0a\uff0c\u85c9\u7740\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u5927\u5de5\u5b8c\u5168\u5e94\u9a8c\u3001\u5b8c\u5168\u6210\u5c31\u4e86\u3002Jesus is the one most important descendant of Abraham\u8036\u7a23\u5c31\u662f\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u90a3\u4e00\u4f4d\u72ec\u4e00\u65e0\u4e8c\u7684\u3001\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u2014\u2014\u300aGalatians\u300b3:16\u300a\u52a0\u62c9\u592a\u4e66\u300b\u7b2c\u4e09\u7ae016\u8282\u3002And now\uff0cthrough our faith in Jesus Christ, we become children or descendants of Abraham\u73b0\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u85c9\u8457\u4fe1\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\uff0c\u5c31\u6210\u4e3a\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u4e86\u3002Today, the descendants of Abraham are not just the ethnic Jews (Jews according to the flesh), but all those who trust in Jesus Christ\u4eca\u5929\uff0c\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u540e\u88d4\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4ec5\u662f\u8840\u7f18\u4e0a\u7684\u3001\u8089\u4f53\u4e0a\u7684\u72b9\u592a\u4eba\u4e86\uff0c\u4e43\u662f\u6240\u6709\u771f\u6b63\u4fe1\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u4eba\u3002Paul emphasized this through and through\u3001again and again in \u300aRomans\u300band \u300aGalatians\u300b\u4fdd\u7f57\u5728\u300a\u7f57\u9a6c\u4e66\u300b\u3001\u300a\u52a0\u62c9\u592a\u4e66\u300b\u4e0d\u65ad\u5730\u5f3a\u8c03\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e8b\u5b9e\u7684\u3002Now God also speaks for the future as definitely something will happen\u4e0a\u5e1d\u9884\u544a\u5c06\u6765\u7684\u4e8b\u662f\u786e\u5b9a\u7684\u2014\u2014\u5fc5\u7136\u4f1a\u5e94\u9a8c\u7684\u3002And so God uses a past tense\uff0cit is well expressing that it will definitely happen\u867d\u7136\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7528\u8fc7\u53bb(\u65f6\u6001)\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u610f\u601d\u5c31\u662f\u5fc5\u7136\u5e94\u9a8c\u7684\u3002Up to here, we see that everything is by God\u2019s sovereignty and God\u2019s grace\u8bb2\u5230\u8fd9\u91cc\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u4e00\u5207\u90fd\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u4e3b\u6743\u3001\u4ed6\u7684\u6069\u5178\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[5]God also makes requirements; his people must obey<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5bf9\u7942\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\u6709\u6240\u8981\u6c42\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5fc5\u987b\u9075\u5b88\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Now let\u2019s see man\u2019s part<\/strong><strong>\u73b0\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u770b\u4eba\u8981\u4f5c\u7684\u90e8\u5206\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong><strong>\uff08\u795e\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\u548c\u547d\u4ee4\uff09\uff1a<\/strong>\uff08\u300aGenesis\u300bChapter 17) Verses1-2\uff1a<strong>\u2026walk before me\uff0cand be blameless<\/strong>\u7b2c1\u8282\uff1a\u2026\u2026<strong>\u4f60\u5f53\u5728\u6211\u9762\u524d\u4f5c\u5b8c\u5168\u4eba\u2026\u2026\u3002<\/strong>Verse 9 \u7b2c9\u8282\uff1a<strong>\u2026\u2026you shall keep my covenant\u2026\u2026\u4f60\u8981\u9075\u5b88\u6211\u7684\u7ea6\u3002<\/strong>God\u2019s promises never change\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\u6c38\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\uff1bnow God\u2019s commands never change\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u547d\u4ee4\u4e5f\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\u3002And God will hold on binding himself to his promises\uff0cand his commandments are also binding\u4e0a\u5e1d\u81ea\u6211\u7ea6\u675f\u2014\u2014\u5fc5\u5b9a\u5b88\u4f4f\u7942\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\u7684\uff0c\u4e5f\u5fc5\u5b9a\u575a\u6301\u7942\u7684\u547d\u4ee4\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.Now man\u2019s responsibility<\/strong><strong>\u4eba\u7684\u8d23\u4efb\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462 is<\/strong> <strong>to trust his promises and obey his commands<\/strong><strong>\u4eba\u7684\u8d23\u4efb\u5c31\u662f\u8981\u4fe1\u9760\u7942\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\u3001\u9075\u5b88\u7942\u7684\u547d\u4ee4\uff01<\/strong>So God does make requirements\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6709\u6240\u8981\u6c42\u7684\uff1aThere are things his people must obey\u6709\u4e9b\u4e8b\u60c5\u662f\u4ed6\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u9075\u5b88\u7684\u3002Now but remember\u8bf7\u6ce8\u610f\uff1aMeeting God\u2019s requirements is not the condition to enter the covenant\u6ee1\u8db3\u795e\u7684\u6761\u4ef6\u201c\u9075\u5b88\u4ed6\u7684\u547d\u4ee4\u201d\u4e0d\u662f\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u7ea6\u7684\u6761\u4ef6\uff1bentering into the covenant is by sheer grace but through faith\u8fdb\u5165\u7ea6\uff0c\u5b8c\u5b8c\u5168\u5168\u662f\u767d\u767d\u7684\u6069\u5178\uff0c\u85c9\u8457\u4fe1\u5fc3\u7684\u3002Now meeting <strong>God\u2019s requirements(faith and obedience)<\/strong>allows his people to enjoy the blessings of the covenant\u201c<strong>\u4fe1\u9760\u795e\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\uff0c\u9075\u5b88\u4ed6\u7684\u547d\u4ee4\u201d\uff0c\u662f\u8981\u8ba9\u7942\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\u80fd\u591f\u4eab\u53d7\u5230\u7ea6\u91cc\u7684\u798f\u4efd\u3002<\/strong>So continuing \u00a0to remain in the covenant enjoying God\u2019s blessings that depends on our obedience\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\u8981\u7ee7\u7eed\u7559\u5728\u7ea6\u91cc\u9762\u4eab\u53d7\u795e\u7684\u7ea6\u91cc\u9762\u7684\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u662f\u8981\u770b\u6211\u4eec\u6709\u6ca1\u6709\u9075\u5b88\u4ed6\u7684\u547d\u4ee4\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[6]Our God does not change<\/strong><strong>\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u795e\u662f\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\u7684\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.God has unlimited freedom<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u81ea\u7531\u662f\u65e0\u9650\u5ea6\u7684\uff1a<\/strong>God\u2019s sovereignty is infinite\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u4e3b\u6743\u662f\u65e0\u9650\u7684\uff1bbut God is not moody\uff0cGod is not capricious\u4f46\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u662f\u4efb\u610f\u884c\u4e8b\u7684\u3002He is not reckless\u4ed6\u4e0d\u662f\u6325\u970d\u7684\u2014\u2014even though some pastors like to talk like this\u867d\u7136\u6709\u4e9b\u7267\u5e08\u559c\u6b22\u8fd9\u6837\u6765\u8868\u8fbe\u3002God is not reckless or capricious\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u662f\u4efb\u610f\u3001\u968f\u610f\u6325\u970d\u7684\u3002He is unchanging in his holiness and in his love\u7942\u7684\u5723\u6d01\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\uff0c\u7942\u7684\u7231\u6c38\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>B.What does that mean for us<\/strong><strong>\u8fd9\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u542f\u8fea\u5462\uff1f<\/strong>Brothers and sisters: Our freedom is limited\u5f1f\u5144\u59d0\u59b9\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u81ea\u7531\u662f\u6709\u9650\u7684\uff1bGod\u2019s freedom is unlimited<strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u81ea\u7531\u662f\u65e0\u9650\u7684<\/strong>\uff0cbut God does not act arbitrarily<strong>\u4f46\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5e76\u6ca1\u6709\u968f\u610f\u5730\u884c\u4e8b<\/strong>\uff0cGod used his freedom according to his plan and standards <strong>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u662f\u6309\u7167\u7942\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u8ba1\u5212\u548c\u4ed6\u7684\u51c6\u5219\u6765\u884c\u4f7f\u7942\u7684\u81ea\u7531\u7684<\/strong>\u3002How much more should this be as we use our limited freedom<strong>\u90a3\u4e48\u6211\u4eec\u7528\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u6709\u9650\u7684\u81ea\u7531\u5c82\u4e0d\u66f4\u52a0\u662f\u5982\u6b64\u5417\u2014\u2014\u300a<\/strong>Galatians\u300b5:1\u300a\u52a0\u62c9\u592a\u4e66\u300b\u7b2c\u4e94\u7ae0\u7b2c1\u8282\uff1a<strong>\u57fa\u7763\u91ca\u653e\u4e86\u6211\u4eec\uff0c\u53eb\u6211\u4eec\u5f97\u4ee5\u81ea\u7531For freedom Christ has set us free\uff1b\u6240\u4ee5\u8981\u7ad9\u7acb\u5f97\u7a33\uff0c\u4e0d\u8981\u518d\u88ab\u5974\u4ec6\u7684\u8f6d<\/strong>\u2014\u2014\u5c31\u662f\u7f6a\uff0c<strong>\u8f96\u5236stand firm and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery. <\/strong>In another words\u6362\u8a00\u4e4b\uff0cDon\u2019t use freedom to sin\u4e0d\u8981\u7528\u81ea\u7531\u6765\u72af\u7f6a\u3002Submit to God and live as his servants\u8981\u987a\u670d\u795e\uff0c\u4f5c\u7942\u7684\u4ec6\u4eba\u7684\u3002Now so far as sin\uff0cthe meaning of the covenant in these verses in \u300aGenesis\u300b17\u6240\u4ee5\u521a\u624d\u6211\u4eec\u4ece\u8fd9\u4e9b\u7ecf\u6587\u91cc\u770b\u5230\u201c\u7ea6\u201d\u7684\u610f\u601d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Now let\u2019s take a look at the meaning of the sign and seal\u2014\u2014 circumcision\u73b0\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u770b\u5272\u793c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8bb0\u53f7\u3001\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5370\u8bc1\u7684\u610f\u4e49\u2014\u2014\uff08\u300aGenesis\u300b17\uff09verses 9-14\uff08\u300a\u521b\u4e16\u8bb0\u300b\u7b2c\u5341\u4e03\u7ae0\uff09\u7b2c9\u8282\u5230\u7b2c14\u8282\uff1a<\/p>\n<p><strong>[III]GOD REMEMBERS<\/strong><strong>\uff0cWE REMEMBER\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8bb0\u5ff5\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u8bb0\u5ff5\uff1aTHE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SIGN AND SEAL\u8bb0\u53f7\u548c\u5370\u8bc1\u7684\u610f\u4e49\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>God remembers\uff0ctherefore we should remember\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8bb0\u5ff5\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u7406\u6240\u5f53\u7136\u7684\u8981\u8bb0\u5ff5\uff1aThe covenant and the sign\u7ea6\u548c\u8bb0\u53f7\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>[1]There is an extremely close relationship between the covenant and the sign <\/strong><strong>\u7ea6\u548c\u8bb0\u53f7\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u5173\u8054\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u5bc6\u5207\u7684\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So close is the link that the sign is called\u201cthe covenant.\u201d\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5173\u8054\u662f\u90a3\u4e48\u7684\u5bc6\u5207\uff1b\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8bb0\u53f7\u5c31\u79f0\u4e3a\u2018\u7ea6\u2019\u3002\uff08\u300aGenesis\u300b17\uff09verses 10\u7b2c10\u8282\uff1a<strong>This is my covenant which you shall keep\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5272\u793c\u5c31\u662f\u6211\u6240\u7acb\u7684\u7ea6\u2014\u2014<\/strong>the sign is the covenant \u8fd9\u4e2a\u8bb0\u53f7\u5c31\u662f\u7ea6\uff0cit doesn\u2019t mean that if you receive the sign\uff0cyou automatically are God\u2019s covenant people\u8fd9\u4e2a\u610f\u601d\u4e0d\u662f\u8bf4\u4f60\u9886\u53d7\u4e86\u8bb0\u53f7\uff0c\u9a6c\u4e0a\u5c31\u662f\u2026\u4e0d\u8bba\u4ec0\u4e48\u6837\u5c31\u662f\u795e\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\u2014\u2014\u4e0d\u662f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u610f\u601d\u3002But the point is\uff1aIt is not\u201cjust\u201d a ceremony<strong>\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8bb0\u53f7\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4ec5\u662f\u2018\u4eea\u5f0f\u800c\u5df2\u2019\u3001\u2018\u4eea\u5f0f\u7f62\u4e86\u2019\uff01<\/strong>So when we Christians speak about the sign\u3001the seal of the covenant\u3001the baptism and so on\uff0cwe must not say: it\u2019s always\u201cjust\u201d a ceremony\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\uff0c\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u8bb2\u5230\u7ea6\u7684\u8bb0\u53f7\u548c\u5370\u8bc1\u65f6\uff0c\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u8bb2\u5230\u6d17\u793c\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u4e0d\u8981\u8bf4\u201c\u54e6\uff0c\u53ea\u4e0d\u8fc7\u662f\u4eea\u5f0f\u2018\u800c\u5df2\u2019\u201d\u5566\u2014\u2014\u4e0d\u80fd\u8bf4\u2018\u800c\u5df2\u2019\u7684not say\u2018just\u2019\uff01The relationship between sign and reality is very close<strong>\u4eea\u5f0f\u3001\u8bb0\u53f7\u548c\u5b9e\u8d28\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u5173\u7cfb\u5728\u5723\u7ecf\u4e0a\u8bf4\u7684\u975e\u5e38\u5bc6\u5207\u7684\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>[2]Circumcision is a sign of the covenant: an outward symbol of an inner water does not represent the baptism\uff0cwater represents cleansing\u2018\u6c34\u2019\u662f\u4ee3\u8868\u6d01\u51c0\u3002In the Old Testament\uff0ccircumcision represents covenant\u4f60\u4e0d\u9075\u5b88\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8bb0\u53f7\u5c31\u7b49\u4e8e\u80cc\u4e86\u7ea6\u3002That is how serious God is about his covenant and sign and seal\u4e0a\u5e1d\u662f\u90a3\u4e48\u7684\u8ba4\u771f\u9762\u5bf9\u7942\u7684\u7ea6\u548c\u4ed6\u7684\u8bb0\u53f7\u548c\u5370\u8bc1\u7684\u3002It is not\u201cjust\u201d a ceremony\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4ec5\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eea\u5f0f\u201c\u800c\u5df2\u201d\uff01For God is not just a ceremony\u5bf9\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6765\u8bf4\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4ec5\u662f\u4eea\u5f0f\u3002Compare with our casual attitude toward baptism and the Lord\u2019s the prophet Jeremiah in a similar way admonishes God\u2019s Gentiles\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8981\u5728\u5217\u56fd\u91cc\u9762\u6d01\u51c0\u4eba\u7684\u5fc3\u2014\u2014\u72b9\u592a\u4eba\u7684\u5fc3\u3001\u5916\u90a6\u4eba\u7684\u5fc3\u3002So we see the God\u2019s principles don\u2019t change\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u539f\u5219\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\uff1bHis love doesn\u2019t change\u7942\u7684\u7231\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\u2014\u2014but his love will extend to a greater extent\u4f46\u7942\u7684\u7231\u4f1a\u4e0d\u65ad\u6269\u5c55\u5c31\u662f\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>Now we come to the New Principles Do Not Change in the New Testament, although outward forms change\uff0calthough outwards forms covenant\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\uff0c\u7279\u522b\u662f\u957f\u8001\u4f1a\uff0c\u53e6\u5916\u8fd8\u6709\u5176\u4ed6\u7684\u536b\u7406\u516c\u4f1a\u3001\u4fe1\u4e49\u5b97\u7b49\u7b49\uff0c\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u65bd\u884c\u7ea6\u7684\u8bb0\u53f7\u548c\u5370\u8bc1\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Now children don not have\u4f46\u662f\u8bdd\u8bf4\u56de\u6765\uff0c\u7ea6\u91cc\u9762\u7684\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u662f\u6709\u4e00\u4e9b\u798f\u4efd\u4e34\u5230\u4ed6\u4eec\uff0c\u662f\u5176\u4ed6\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u6ca1\u6709\u7684\u3002The Holy Spirit begins working in their hearts\u5723\u7075\u5f00\u59cb\u5728\u4ed6\u4eec\u5fc3\u91cc\u9762\u52a8\u5de5\uff0cthe Holy Spirit gives them the seed of adults\u6211\u4eec\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u4f1a\u957f\u5927\u6210\u4eba\u7684\uff0cthey continue to be in God\u2019s hands\u4ed6\u4eec\u4ecd\u7136\u662f\u5728\u795e\u7684\u624b\u4e2d\u7684\u3002It\u2019s forever\u7942\u6c38\u8fdc\u8bb0\u5ff5\u3001\u6c38\u4e0d\u5fd8\u8bb0\u7684\u3002Signs are not just ceremonies\u8bb0\u53f7\u3001\u5370\u8bc1\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4ec5\u662f\u4eea\u5f0f\u7684\u3002God has given
