to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth \u2013 Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understand obtain guidance, to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles.\u00a0 <em>The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;<\/em> <em>fools despise wisdom and instruction<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u75336\ufe554-9\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deuteronomy 6:4-9<\/p>\n<p>\u4ee5\u8272\u5217\u963f\uff0c\u4f60\u8981\u542c\u3002\u8036\u548c\u534e\u6211\u4eec\u5f97\u4e0a\u5e1d\u662f\u72ec\u4e00\u7684\u4e3b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4f60\u8981\u5c3d\u5fc3\uff0c\u5c3d\u6027\uff0c\u5c3d\u529b\uff0c\u7231\u8036\u548c\u534e\u4f60\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u4eca\u65e5\u6240\u5429\u5490\u4f60\u7684\u8bdd\uff0c\u90fd\u8981\u8bb0\u5728\u5fc3\u4e0a\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4e5f\u8981\u6bb7\u52e4\u6559\u8bad\u4f60\u7684\u513f\u5973\uff0c\u65e0\u8bba\u4f60\u5750\u5728\u5bb6\u91cc\uff0c\u884c\u5728\u8def\u4e0a\uff0c\u8eba\u4e0b\uff0c\u8d77\u6765\uff0c\u90fd\u8981\u8c08\u8bba\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4e5f\u8981\u7cfb\u5728\u624b\u4e0a\u4e3a\u8bb0\u53f7\uff0c\u6234\u5728\u989d\u4e0a\u4e3a\u7ecf\u6587\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u53c8\u8981\u5199\u5728\u4f60\u623f\u5c4b\u5f97\u95e8\u6846\u4e0a\uff0c\u5e76\u4f60\u7684\u57ce\u95e8\u4e0a\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.\u00a0 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.\u00a0 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.\u00a0 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.\u00a0 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.\u00a0 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.\u201d<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u6211\u4eec\u5e94\u8be5\u7559\u610f\u522b\u4eba\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u600e\u4e48\u60f3\u5417\uff1f\u6709\u65f6\u5019\u5e94\u8be5\uff0c\u53ef\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u5e94\u6210\u4e3a\u60e7\u6015\u522b\u4eba\u7684\u5974\u96b6\ufe55\uff08\u4e00\uff09\u6015\u522b\u4eba\u4f1a\u770b\u5230\u771f\u7684\u6211\uff1b\uff08\u4e8c\uff09\u6015\u522b\u4eba\u4e0d\u63a5\u7eb3\u6211\uff0c\u62d2\u7edd\u6211\uff1b\uff08\u4e09\uff09\u6015\u522b\u4eba\u4f1a\u4f24\u5bb3\u6211\uff08\u611f\u60c5\u4f24\u5bb3\uff0c\u8eab\u4f53\u4f24\u5bb3\uff0c\u6027\u8650\u5f85\u7b49\uff09\u3002\u552f\u4e00\u4ece\u4f5c\u60e7\u6015\u7684\u5974\u96b6\u91ca\u653e\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u4e43\u662f\u9996\u5148\u656c\u754f\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff01<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Should we pay any attention to what others think about us?\u00a0 Sometimes yes, but we should not be enslaved by fear of what others think of us.\u00a0 Many of us are enslaved by three thoughts: (a) others may see the real me; (b) others may not accept me, but reject me; (c) others may hurt me, emotionally, physically, sexually.\u00a0 (Cf. <em>When People Are Big and God is Small<\/em>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prpbooks.com\/\">www.prpbooks.com<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccef.org\/\">www.ccef.org<\/a>.)\u00a0 The only way to become liberated from this three-fold fear and slavery, is to fear God first.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u53ef\u662f\u5f88\u591a\u65f6\u5019\u522b\u4eba\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u8bc4\u8bed\u662f\u6709\u7528\u7684\uff0c\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u9700\u8981\u7684\u3002\u4e0a\u5e1d\u521b\u9020\u4e16\u754c\u65f6\u8bbe\u7acb\u4e86\u4e09\u4e2a\u5236\u5ea6\ufe55\u5a5a\u59fb\u4e0e\u5bb6\u5ead\uff1b\u5de5\u4f5c\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\uff1b\u5b89\u606f\u4e0e\u656c\u62dc\uff08\u521b1\ufe5526-2\ufe553\uff09\u3002\u7236\u6bcd\u4eb2\u5fc5\u987b\u6559\u5bfc\u513f\u5973\u656c\u754f\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u670d\u4ece\u7942\uff08\u75336\ufe554-9\uff09\uff0c\u6559\u5e08\uff08\u6559\u4f1a\uff09\u5fc5\u987b\u6559\u5bfc\u5b66\u751f\u667a\u80fd\u4e0e\u771f\u77e5\u8bc6\uff08\u5b88\u7ea6\u987a\u670d\uff09\uff1b\u653f\u5e9c\u5fc5\u987b\u8d4f\u5584\u7f5a\u6076\uff08\u7f5713\u7ae0\uff09\u3002\u56e0\u6b64\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u8bbe\u7acb\u7684\u6743\u5a01\u4f1a\u5bf9\u4eba\u53d1\u51fa\u8bc4\u5224\uff0c\u662f\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u8d23\u4efb\uff01<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>However, what other people think of us, may be very helpful and necessary.\u00a0 God has established several covenant-institutions when he created the world: marriage and family; work and government; and rest and worship (Gen. 1:26-2:3).\u00a0 Parents are to teach their children to fear and obey God (Deut. 6:4-9); teachers are to teach students wisdom and knowledge (\u201ccovenant obedience\u201d); the government should reward those who do good, and punish those who do evil (Rom. 13).\u00a0 Therefore, these authority-figures which God has ordained, will make judgments of men, women and children.\u00a0 This is their duty!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u4e00\u4e9b\u7814\u7a76\u6307\u51fa\u5f88\u591a\u7f8e\u56fd\u5b66\u751f\u4e0d\u80fd\u63a5\u53d7\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u6210\u7ee9\u4e0d\u5408\u683c\u3002\u7f8e\u56fd\u5b66\u751f\u6bd4\u65e5\u672c\u5b66\u751f\u5bf9\u81ea\u5df1\u6570\u5b66\u6210\u7ee9\u81ea\u4fe1\uff0c\u4f46\u65e5\u672c\u5b66\u751f\u6570\u5b66\u6210\u7ee9\u6bd4\u7f8e\u56fd\u5b66\u751f\u9ad8\u3002\u8fd9\u8bf4\u660e\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u7f8e\u56fd\u793e\u4f1a\u5df2\u7ecf\u88ab\u300c\u81ea\u5c0a\u300d\u7684\u8c0e\u8a00\u5b8c\u5168\u6e17\u900f\uff0c\u4ee5\u81f4\u4eba\u62d2\u7edd\u9762\u5bf9\u4e8b\u5b9e\u3002\u793e\u4f1a\u6559\u5bfc\u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u8981\u987a\u670d\u6743\u5a01\uff0c\u4e0d\u8981\u63a5\u53d7\u8d23\u5907\u3002\u8fd9\u5c31\u662f\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u7f8e\u56fd\u5728\u9053\u5fb7\u548c\u4fe1\u4ef0\u4e0a\u662f\u7834\u4ea7\u7684\uff0c\u5979\u4ec5\u5269\u4e0b\u519b\u4e8b\uff0c\u7ecf\u6d4e\u548c\u79d1\u6280\u7684\u80fd\u529b\u7f62\u4e86\uff01\u300c\u611a\u5984\u4eba\u85d0\u89c6\u667a\u6167\u548c\u6559\u6559\u8bf2\u3002\u300d\u4e0a\u5e1d\u554a\uff0c\u601c\u60af\uff01\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5fc5\u5ba1\u5224\u3002Studies show that American students cannot tolerate being told that they have failed a course; U.S. students have better self-confidence about their math and science ability than Japanese students (when actually, Japanese students perform better than U.S. students).\u00a0 This shows that American society is so infiltrated with the lie of self-esteem, that we refuse to accept the truth.\u00a0 Society teaches us not to obey authority, and accept rebuke.\u00a0 This is why American society is bankrupt in morality and religion.\u00a0 (She is only strong in finance, military might and technology.)\u00a0 \u201cFools refuse wisdom and instruction.\u201d\u00a0 God have mercy!\u00a0 God will judge.<\/li>\n<li>\u8303\u6cf0\u5c14\u79f0\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u8bbe\u7acb\u7684\u5173\u7cfb\u4e3a\u300c\u4ee3\u8868\u539f\u5219\u300d\u3002\u4eba\u751f\u6700\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u539f\u5219\u5c31\u662f\ufe55\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u5b8c\u5168\u5728\u4e0a\u5e1d\u9762\u524d\uff08\u8bd7\u7bc71391\u7bc7\uff09\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u6240\u60f3\u3001\u6240\u8bf4\u3001\u6240\u4f5c\u7684\uff0c\u90fd\u5728\u7942\u9762\u5149\u4e4b\u4e2d\u3002\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0e\u5168\u4eba\u7c7b\u7acb\u7ea6\uff0c\u4f5c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u521b\u9020\u4e3b\u3002\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0e\u4fe1\u5f92\u4eec\u7acb\u300c\u6069\u5178\u4e4b\u7ea6\u300d\uff0c\u4f5c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u6551\u8d4e\u4e3b\uff0c\u751f\u547d\u7684\u4e3b\u5bb0\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u56e0\u4e3a\u5c5e\u4e8e\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u5f7c\u6b64\u5f52\u5c5e\u4e3a\u80a2\u4f53\uff0c\u5f7c\u6b64\u300c\u4ee3\u8868\u300d\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u4e0e\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7acb\u7ea6\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u5f7c\u6b64\u7acb\u7ea6\uff0c\u6210\u7acb\u5bb6\u5ead\uff0c\u5b66\u6821\uff0c\u6559\u4f1a\uff0c\u5c0f\u533a\uff0c\u56fd\u5bb6\u3002Cornelius Van Til calls these relationships in life \u201cthe representational principle,\u201d which is another name for \u201ccovenant.\u201d\u00a0 The most fundamental fact in life is: We live our lives in the face of God (Psalm 139).\u00a0 All that we think, say and do, we do in God\u2019s presence.\u00a0 God has made a covenant with all of us \u2013 he is our Creator and Lord.\u00a0 God has made a special covenant with believers (the covenant of grace) \u2013 he is our Redeemer and Lord (Gen. 17:7).\u00a0 Because we belong to God, we belong to each other as fellow believers.\u00a0 We \u201crepresent\u201d one another.\u00a0 We covenant with God, and form the church.\u00a0 We covenant with each other, and form families, schools, churches, communities, and nations.<\/li>\n<li>\u4e0a\u5e1d\u900f\u8fc7\u7acb\u7ea6\u544a\u8bc9\u6211\u4eec\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u8c01\ufe55\u6211\u4eec\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\uff08\u8ba4\u540c\uff09\u6765\u81ea\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff08\u7f578\u7ae0\uff0c\u5f172-3\u7ae0\uff09\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\uff08\u8ba4\u540c\uff09\u6765\u81ea\u5982\u4f55\u4e86\u89e3\u6b7b\u4ea1\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6b7b\u540e\u5230\u54ea\u91cc\u53bb\uff08\u6797\u540e4-5\u7ae0\uff09\u3002\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u6c38\u6052\u7684\u53bb\u5904\u95ee\u9898\u5b89\u5b9a\u4e86\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u61c2\u5f97\u5982\u4f55\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u6709\u81ea\u5df1\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6709\u300c\u81ea\u4fe1\u300d\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u5145\u6ee1\u7740\u559c\u4e50\uff0c\u611f\u8c22\u7684\u4fe1\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u300c\u8fd9\u4e16\u754c\u975e\u6211\u5bb6\u300d\uff08\u676511\ufe5511-16\uff09\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u81ea\u6211\u8ba4\u8bc6\u6765\u81ea\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u6069\u5178\uff0c\u4e3a\u6b64\u6211\u4eec\u611f\u6069\ufe55\u6211\u4eec\u4e00\u5207\u6240\u6709\u7684\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u5929\u6210\u4f55\u7b49\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u90fd\u56e0\u4e3a\u4e3b\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u3002<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Within the covenant, God tells us who we are \u2013 our true identity comes from God (Romans chapter 8, Ephesians chapters 2-3).\u00a0 Our true identity comes from our understanding of death, and where we go after death (I Cor. Chapters 4-5).\u00a0 When the issue of our eternal destiny is settled, then we have our true identity \u2013 we have a \u201cstrong self-esteem.\u201d\u00a0 We are joyful, we are thankful, because \u201cthis world is not my home\u201d (Heb. 11:11-16).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our self-understanding is based on gratitude to God\u2019s grace \u2013 all that we have, we owe to Christ.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u6362\u8a00\u4e4b\ufe55\u6211\u4eec\u5fc5\u987b\u820d\u5df1\uff0c\u80cc\u8d77\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\uff0c\u8ddf\u968f\u4f4f\u3002\u8fd9\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\u3002<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Another way of putting this is: We are to \u201cdeny ourselves, take up the cross, and follow Christ.\u201d\u00a0 This is our true identity.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u7f6a\u4e0e\u6551\u6069\ufe55\u7a76\u7adf\u798f\u97f3\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sin and Salvation \u2013 What is the Gospel?<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u7f578\ufe5529\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Romans 8:29<\/p>\n<p>\u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u9884\u5148\u6240\u77e5\u9053\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u5c31\u9884\u5148\u5b9a\u4e0b\u6548\u6cd5\u7942\u513f\u5b50\u7684\u6a21\u6837\uff0c\u662f\u7942\u513f\u5b50\u5728\u8bb8\u591a\u5f1f\u5144\u4e2d\u4f5c\u957f\u5b50\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor those whom he foreknew he also predestined <em>to be conformed to the image of his Son,<\/em> in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.\u201d<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u4e00\u4f4d\u5357\u52a0\u5ddeBiola\u5927\u5b66\u7684\u6559\u6388\u8bf4\ufe55\u300c\u7f6a\u300d\u5c31\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u9700\u8981\u6ca1\u6709\u6ee1\u8db3\uff0c\u6216\u6211\u4eec\u6ca1\u6709\u5b9e\u73b0\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u6f5c\u80fd\u3002Biola\u5927\u5b66\u8bbe\u6709Rosemead \u5fc3\u7406\u5b66\u9662\uff0c\u4e0e\u798f\u4e50\u795e\u5b66\u9662\u7684\u5fc3\u7406\u5b66\u9662\u4e00\u6837\uff0c\u662f\u76f8\u4fe1\u300c\u878d\u5408\u300d\u5fc3\u7406\u5b66\u4e0e\u57fa\u7763\u6559\u4fe1\u4ef0\u7684\u5b66\u5e9c\u3002<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A professor at Biola University (La Mirada, California) is quoted as saying that: sin is when our needs are not fulfilled, and when we do not realize our potential.\u00a0 Biola is home to the Rosemead School of Psychology. Like\u00a0 Fuller Theological Seminary\u2019s School of Psychology, Rosemead believes in the so-called \u201cintegration\u201d of psychology with the Christian faith.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u53ef\u662f\uff0c\u4e16\u4fd7\u7684\u5fc3\u7406\u7406\u8bba\uff0c\u771f\u7684\u80fd\u591f\u4e0e\u300a\u5723\u7ecf\u300b\u7684\u6559\u4e49\u300c\u878d\u5408\u300d\u5417\uff1f\u8fd9\u4f4d\u6559\u6388\u8bf4\u7684\uff0c\u521a\u597d\u4e0e\u300a\u5723\u7ecf\u300b\u5bf9\u7f6a\u7684\u5b9a\u4e49\u5b8c\u5168\u76f8\u53cd\uff01\u7f6a\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u7f6a\u662f\u5bf9\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u53cd\u53db\uff01\u7f6a\u662f\u5e72\u72af\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u8beb\u547d\uff0c\u6216\u4e0d\u9075\u5b88\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5429\u5490\u3002\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u7981\u6b62\u7684\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u53bb\u4f5c\uff1b\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6240\u5429\u5490\u7684\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u53bb\u4f5c\ufe55\u8fd9\u53eb\u7f6a\uff01<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>But can secular theories of psychology become truly \u201cintegrated\u201d with the Bible\u2019s teaching?\u00a0 This professor\u2019s words have totally twisted what the Bible teaches about sin.\u00a0 Sin is rebellion against God.\u00a0 Sin is the lack of conformity to, and transgression of, God\u2019s law (<em>Westminster Shorter Catechism<\/em>).\u00a0 In other words: What God forbids us to do, we do; what God commands us to do, we fail to do.\u00a0 This is
