\u6240\u4ee5\u5047\u5982\u4f60\u4eec\u653e\u773c\u89c2\u770b\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\uff0cwhere is the fire of Christ Shining the present or the future \u4f60\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\u4e3b\u7684\u4e8b\u4f53\u5230\u5e95\u5728\u54ea\u8fb9\u5bf9\u5b83\u53d1\u5149\u6700\u5927\u5462\uff1fif we are honest\u5982\u679c\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u8bda\u5b9e\u7684\u8bdd if \u5728\u90a3\u8fb9\u653f\u5e9c\u4e0d\u6562\u628a\u771f\u5b9e\u7684\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u7684\u6570\u76ee\u516c\u5e03\u51fa\u6765\uff0cprobably thirty percent or above \u4eba\u6570\u670930%\u4ee5\u4e0a\u3002mainland China \u4e2d\u56fd\u5927\u9646\uff0c80 million Christian\u516b\u5343\u4e07\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\uff0cSouth Korea\u5357\u97e9\uff0cmany countries in Latin America \u62c9\u4e01\u7f8e\u6d32\u8bb8\u591a\u56fd\u5bb6\u3002<\/p>\n<p>and so as we worship this morning \u6240\u4ee5\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u5929\u656c\u62dc\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0cwe are a very small part of the global body of Christ \u6211\u4eec\u8981\u60f3\u5230\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u57fa\u7763\u5168\u7403\u8eab\u4f53\u7684\u4e00\u5c0f\u90e8\u5206\u3002now we happen to be living in a country where we enjoy many benefits \u4f46\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u5728\u7f8e\u56fd\u53d7\u5230\u5f88\u591a\u7684\u798f\u5229\uff0cwe enjoy military might\u6211\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u56fd\u5bb6\u7684\u8fd9\u4e2a\u519b\u529b\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u5f3a financial strength \u6211\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u8fd9\u4e2a\u56fd\u5bb6\u7684\u7ecf\u6d4e\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u597d and the most updated technology \u5f53\u7136\u77e5\u9053\u5728\u79d1\u6280\u4e0a\u9762\u662f\u6700\u9ad8\u5cf0\u7684\u3002unfortunately when we compare ourselves with the rest of the world \u4f46\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u4e0e\u4e16\u754c\u5176\u4ed6\u5730\u65b9\u76f8\u6bd4\u8f83\u7684\u65f6\u5019 we probably could only forward these three things \u6211\u4eec\u53ea\u80fd\u591f\u628a\u6211\u7684\u5c31\u662fyes there are many wonderful churches and Christians in this country \u5f53\u7136\uff0c\u5728\u7f8e\u56fd\u6709\u5f88\u591a\u5f88\u597d\u7684\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u8ddf\u6559\u4f1a but in society we are morally and spiritually bankrupted \u4f46\u662f\u6574\u4f53\u7684\u6765\u8bb2\uff0c\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u793e\u4f1a\u4e0a\u9762\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u7834\u4ea7\uff0c\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u9053\u5fb7\u65b9\u9762\u6765\u8bb2\u3002<\/p>\n<p>we live in the twenty first century \u6211\u4eec\u662f\u751f\u6d3b\u572821\u4e16\u7eaa\uff0cif we look around both geographically and historically we will realize how blessed and fortunate we are\u6211\u4eec\u4ece\u5730\u7406\u7684\u89d2\u5ea6\u6765\u770b\uff0c\u4ece\u5386\u53f2\u7684\u89d2\u5ea6\u6765\u770b\uff0c\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u591a\u4e48\u7684\u5e78\u8fd0\uff0cmost of us here are Asians not Chinese living in North America\u6211\u4eec\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u662f\u975e\u534e\u88d4\u4e9a\u6d32\u4eba\uff0c\u4f4f\u5728\u5317\u7f8e\u6d32 we compare ourselves with every Chinese person who is living on the face of this earth today\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u5047\u5982\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u5929\u4e0e\u5176\u4ed6\u7684\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u6765\u6bd4\u8f83\u7684\u8bdd we are probably the most fortunate \u6211\u4eec\u53ef\u80fd\u8bf4\u662f\u6700\u5e78\u8fd0\u7684 we have the best education opportunity and employment opportunity \u6211\u4eec\u5728\u8fd9\u8fb9\u53d7\u6559\u80b2\u7684\u673a\u4f1a\u3001\u627e\u5de5\u4f5c\u7684\u673a\u4f1a\u90fd\u662f\u6700\u597d\u7684 if we compare ourselves with every Chinese that has ever lived in history we are the most fortunate \u5047\u5982\u6211\u4eec\u4ece\u5386\u53f2\u7684\u89c2\u70b9\u6765\u770b\uff0c\u6bd4\u8f83\u8fc7\u53bb\u6240\u6709\u7684\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u6765\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u662f\u6700\u5e78\u8fd0\u7684 if we compare ourselves with the entire population of the United States and Canada\uff0cwe don&#8217;t have to remind ourselves how fortunate we are\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u5047\u5982\u6211\u4eec\u6bd4\u7f8e\u56fd\u6216\u8005\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u6574\u4e2a\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u4eba\u53e3\u6765\u8bf4\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u53ef\u4ee5\u7b97\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u5e78\u8fd0\u3002I live in California \u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u4f4f\u5728\u52a0\u5dde our state leaves we are the leader in reverse discrimination \u6211\u4eec\u6240\u5728\u7684\u52a0\u5dde\u662f\u53cd\u8fd9\u6b67\u89c6\u7684\u5148\u950bbecause we are so fortunate \u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u591a\u4e48\u7684\u5e78\u8fd0 and then if you compare ourselves with every human being that is living on the face of this earth\uff0cwe realize how fortunate we are\u6240\u4ee5\uff0c\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u4e0e\u5176\u4ed6\u7684\u4eba\u6bd4\u8f83\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u591a\u4e48\u7684\u5e78\u8fd0 there has never been as many resources for evangelism as there are in the twenty first century today\u572821\u4e16\u7eaa\u6765\u8bb2\uff0c\u6bd4\u8d77\u5176\u4ed6\u7684\u65f6\u4ee3\uff0c\u5728\u5ba3\u6559\u65b9\u9762\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6709\u5f88\u591a\u7684\u8d44\u6e90\u3002<\/p>\n<p>but there has also never been as much need\u4f46\u662f\u4e5f\u6709\u8bb8\u591a\u7684\u9700\u8981especially need in the body of Christ \u5c24\u5176\u662f\u8bf4\u5728\u6559\u4f1a\u91cc\u9762 what kind of church does the church need to be in the twenty first century \u572821\u4e16\u7eaa\u91cc\uff0c\u4e00\u4e2a\u6559\u4f1a\u5230\u5e95\u8981\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u4ec0\u4e48\u6837\u7684\u6559\u4f1a\u5462\uff1fthe body of Christ must be a church that has a message to proclaim \u4e3b\u7684\u8eab\u4f53\u5e94\u8be5\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u6709\u9053\u53ef\u4f20\u7684\u6559\u4f1a and every Christian must be a Christian with a message to proclaim \u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u90fd\u4e00\u5b9a\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u662f\u6709\u9053\u53ef\u4f20\u7684\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u3002So today\uff0cI would like to share with you all what kind of message a church should preach in this 21st century\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u4eca\u5929\u6211\u613f\u610f\u8ddf\u5927\u5bb6\u5206\u4eab\u4e00\u4e2a\u6559\u4f1a\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a21\u4e16\u7eaa\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u8981\u5411\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\u5ba3\u8bb2\u4e00\u4e2a\u4ec0\u4e48\u6837\u7684\u4fe1\u606f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>we will be looking at Act chapter 17\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u8981\u4ece\u4f7f\u5f92\u884c\u4f2017\u7ae0\u6765\u770b verse of 16-37\uff0c16\u8282\u523037\u8282\uff0chere Paul is speaking to the intellectuals in the city of Athens in Greece \u8fd9\u91cc\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u4fdd\u7f57\u4ed6\u5728\u5e0c\u814a\u7684\u96c5\u5178\u8ddf\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u4eba\u8bb2\u8bdd we&#8217;ll first look at the motive or the motivation that Paul has in his heart as he spoke to the people in Athens \u6211\u4eec\u9996\u5148\u8981\u770b\u4fdd\u7f57\u4ed6\u7684\u5fc3\u6001\uff0c\u5f53\u4ed6\u5bf9\u90a3\u4e9b\u96c5\u5178\u7684\u4eba\u8bb2\u8bdd\u7684\u65f6\u5019 verse sixteen to twenty one \u4ece16\u8282\u4e00\u76f4\u770b\u523021\u8282 and then we will look at the message that Paul had to proclaim on that day\uff0cverse 22-31\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u4ed6\u5f53\u5929\u6240\u8bb2\u7684\u662f\u4ece22\u8282\u4e00\u76f4\u523031\u8282\uff0ccompared with the messages that are often heard today\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6bd4\u8d77\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u5929\u5e38\u542c\u5230\u7684\u4fe1\u606f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>we must admit that too often our gospel messages are too man-centered and self-centered \u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\u5fc5\u987b\u627f\u8ba4\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u5929\u6240\u542c\u5230\u7684\u4fe1\u606f\u5e38\u662f\u4ee5\u4eba\u4e3a\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3001\u81ea\u6211\u4e3a\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684 we live in a broken generation \u6211\u4eec\u662f\u6d3b\u5728\u4e00\u4e2a\u7834\u788e\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e16\u4ee3 the world is filled with broken hearts \u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\u4e0a\u5145\u6ee1\u7834\u788e\u7684\u5fc3\u7075 the world is filled with broken homes\u7834\u788e\u7684\u5bb6\u5ead what do broken hearts and broken homes need \u7834\u788e\u7684\u5fc3\u7075\u3001\u7834\u788e\u7684\u5bb6\u5ead\u9700\u8981\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1fSecular psychology tells us\u4e16\u4fd7\u5fc3\u7406\u5b66\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u8bf4 that they need a friend \u4ed6\u4eec\u9700\u8981\u4e00\u4e2a\u670b\u53cb and our young people are some of the warmest human beings that ever lived in human history \u6211\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\u8fd9\u4e2a\u65f6\u4ee3\u7684\u5e74\u8f7b\u4eba\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u6700\u6e29\u548c\u7684\u4e00\u79cd\u4eba\u3002<\/p>\n<p>because they realize they know that they live in a broken world \u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u6d3b\u5728\u4e00\u4e2a\u7834\u788e\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u91cc\u9762 most of us adults are first generation immigrants to America \u6211\u4eec\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u6210\u5e74\u4eba\u90fd\u662f\u7b2c\u4e00\u4ee3\u79fb\u6c11\u5230\u7f8e\u56fd\u7684 and we have tough will \u6211\u4eec\u6709\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u575a\u5f3a\u7684\u610f\u5fd7 we are who we are because of our hard work \u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u5929\u6240\u80fd\u591f\u6709\u4eca\u5929\u6240\u6709\u7684\u5730\u4f4d\uff0c\u662f\u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u52aa\u529b you say what do we have \u4f60\u4f1a\u8bf4\uff1a\u4f60\u6709\u4e9b\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1fI&#8217;ll tell you what you have\u6211\u544a\u8bc9\u4f60\u4eec\uff0c\u4f60\u4eec\u6709\u4e9b\u4ec0\u4e48 we have our zip code\u6211\u4eec\u6709\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u90ae\u533a\u53f7\u7801 and we choose our zip code very carefully \u6211\u4eec\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u7528\u5fc3\u7684\u53bb\u9009\u62e9\u90ae\u533a\u53f7\u7801\u3002<\/p>\n<p>so that we can settle down and raise children when go to the best universities in America \u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\u53ef\u4ee5\u5b9a\u5c45\u4e0b\u6765\uff0c\u517b\u80b2\u5b69\u5b50\uff0c\u5230\u65f6\u5019\u8fdb\u7f8e\u56fd\u6700\u597d\u7684\u5927\u5b66\u3002and so we have tough wills\u6211\u4eec\u6709\u975e\u5e38\u5065\u5f3a\u7684\u610f\u5fd7 but unfortunately often we also have very tough hearts\u4f46\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u4e0d\u5e78\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5fc3\u4e5f\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u786c and rather weak mind \u5e76\u4e14\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7406\u6027\u4e5f\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u8106\u5f31 and that is why for some of us it has been very difficult to follow my sermons in the last two days\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\u4e2d\u95f4\u6709\u4eba\u5f88\u96be\u8ddf\u4e0a\u6211\u8fc7\u53bb\u4e24\u5929\u7684\u8bb2\u9053\u3002not because the messages are difficult when we come to church we turn off our brains \u6211\u4eec\u6765\u5230\u6559\u4f1a\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u8981\u628a\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u8111\u888b\u5173\u6389\u3002our young people also have very Brilliant minds \u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5e74\u8f7b\u4eba\u4e5f\u6709\u548c\u806a\u660e\u7684\u5934\u8111but unfortunately the world has been telling us that we are all very dumb \u4f46\u662f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u8bf4\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u90fd\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u7684\u611a\u7b28\u3002the media and entertainment treat us as if we don&#8217;t have a brain\u5a92\u4f53\u548c\u5a31\u4e50\u5708\u5f85\u6211\u4eec\uff0c\u597d\u50cf\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u6ca1\u6709\u8111\u888b\u7684\uff0cbut very often what adults don&#8217;t realize \u4ed6\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u4eec\u8fd9\u4e00\u4ee3\u5df2\u7ecf\u628a\u4e16\u754c\u5f04\u7cdf\u4e86 and they are here to pick up the pieces of a broken world \u4ed6\u4eec\u6765\u8981\u6536\u62fe\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7834\u788e\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u3002<\/p>\n<p>now those of us adults who haven&#8217;t thought about this you need to think about \u4ed6\u751f\u6c14\u662f\u56e0\u4e3a\u5723\u7ecf\u8bf4\u8fd9\u4e2a\u57ce\u91cc\u5145\u6ee1\u4e86\u5076\u50cf\u3002What are idols\uff1f\u5076\u50cf\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1fIdols are simply the wrong objects of worship for men and women \u5076\u50cf\u7b80\u5355\u7684\u6765\u8bb2\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u4eba\u4e0d\u5e94\u8be5\u5d07\u62dc\u7684\u90a3\u4e9b\u4e1c\u897f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>you see psychology has been telling us what are the needs of men and women \u4f60\u770b\u5230\u5fc3\u7406\u5b66\u5e38\u5e38\u544a\u8bc9\u6211\u4eec\u4eba\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u9700\u8981 they say that we need food and shelter \u8bf4\u6211\u4eec\u9700\u8981\u98df\u7269\u3001\u9700\u8981\u6709\u623f\u5b50 and then we need to be recognized\u3001affirmed\u3001loved\u3001accepted \u6211\u4eec\u9700\u8981\u522b\u4eba\u7684\u8ba4\u540c\u3001\u7231\u548c\u63a5\u7eb3 and then we need to fulfill ourselves \u5e76\u4e14\u6211\u4eec\u9700\u8981\u6ee1\u8db3\u81ea\u5df1 now the Bible disagrees with Abraham Maslow\u4f46\u662f\u5723\u7ecf\u5374\u4e0e\u4e9a\u4f2f\u62c9\u7f55\u00b7\u9a6c\u65af\u6d1b\uff08Abraham Maslow\uff0c 1908\u20131970\uff09\u7684\u610f\u89c1\u76f8\u53cd\uff0cman&#8217;s most important need is not to be accepted\u4eba\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u9700\u8981\u5e76\u4e0d\u662f\u8bf4\u88ab\u4eba\u63a5\u7eb3\u3002I&#8217;m not saying that we don&#8217;t want to be accepted \u6211\u4e0d\u662f\u8bf4\u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u60f3\u88ab\u63a5\u7eb3\u3002<\/p>\n<p>but the Bible tells us that the most fundamental need of every human being is the need to worship someone or somebody\u5723\u7ecf\u91cc\u9762\u544a\u8bc9\u6211\u4eec\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6700\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u9700\u8981\u662f\u9700\u8981\u656c\u62dc\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u6216\u8005\u4e00\u6837\u4e1c\u897f\u3002we either worship the true god \u6211\u4eec\u8981\u4e48\u662f\u656c\u62dc\u771f\u795e oh we worship the true god in the wrong way\u6216\u8005\u6211\u4eec\u656c\u62dc\u771f\u795e\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u7528\u9519\u8bef\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0cor certainly will we worship the wrong god or idols \u6216\u8005\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u656c\u62dc\u90a3\u4e9b\u9519\u8bef\u7684\u795e\u6216\u5076\u50cf\u3002<\/p>\n<p>There are really only three alternatives\u6240\u4ee5\u53ea\u6709\u4e09\u6761\u8def\uff1aworship God in spirit and truth\u4ee5\u5723\u7075\u6309\u771f\u7406\u6765\u656c\u62dc\u795e or worship God in a wrong way\u6216\u8005\u662f\u7528\u9519\u8bef\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u656c\u62dc\u795e or worship idols\u6216\u8005\u662f\u656c\u62dc\u5076\u50cf that is true of every human being \u662f\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u771f\u662f\u7684\u5149\u666f\uff1band it is true of every society and every culture\u4e5f\u662f\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u793e\u4f1a\u548c\u4efb\u4f55\u7684\u6587\u5316\u7684\u5149\u666f\u3002what is an idol\uff1f\u7a76\u7adf\u4ec0\u4e48\u662f\u5076\u50cf\u5462\uff1fAn idol is simply anything that takes the place of God in our hearts \u5076\u50cf\u5c31\u662f\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u5fc3\u91cc\u9762\u4ee3\u66ff\u4e86\u795e\u7684\u4efb\u4f55\u4e1c\u897f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>So what are some of the idols for us first generation Chinese immigrants \u6211\u4eec\u7b2c\u4e00\u4ee3\u79fb\u6c11\u7684\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u7684\u5076\u50cf\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1fIs it money \u662f\u5426\u662f\u94b1\u5462\uff1fnobody will admit that money is his or her idol \u6ca1\u6709\u4eba\u4f1a\u627f\u8ba4\u8bf4\u91d1\u94b1\u662f\u4ed6\u7684\u5076\u50cf\u3002So let&#8217;s take a look at what money can buy\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u770b\u94b1\u80fd\u591f\u4e70\u5230\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e1c\u897f\u5462\uff1fyou know what Chinese buy with money\uff1f\u4f60\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u4eec\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u7528\u94b1\u4e70\u4ec0\u4e48\u5417\uff1fI told you already\u6211\u4e00\u5b9a\u544a\u8bc9\u4f60\u4eec\u7684 a zip code\u5c31\u662f\u90a3\u4e2a\u90ae\u653f\u53f7\u533a in other words a school district\u5c31\u662f\u90a3\u4e2a\u5b66\u533a\u623f in other words location location location\u5c31\u662f\u5b66\u533a\u623f\u3001\u5b66\u533a\u623f\u3001\u5b66\u533a\u623f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>So in reality what is our idol\uff1f\u6240\u4ee5\u4f60\u7ec6\u60f3\u4e00\u4e0b\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5076\u50cf\u5230\u5e95\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1four children have become our idol\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u513f\u5973\u53d8\u6210\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5076\u50cf\uff0canybody anything that takes the place of God in our heart is our idol\u3002\u51e1\u662f\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5fc3\u91cc\u9762\u4ee3\u66ff\u4e86\u795e\u7684\u90a3\u4e9b\u4e1c\u897f\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5076\u50cf\u3002what about Asian Americans \u4e9a\u88d4\u7f8e\u56fd\u4eba\u600e\u4e48\u6837\uff1fwhat might be some of our idols \u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5076\u50cf\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e1c\u897f\u554a\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>let me suggest two \u8ba9\u6211\u6307\u51fa\u4e24\u6837 these are the generally accepted idols of American society\u666e\u904d\u6765\u8bb2\u7f8e\u56fd\u793e\u4f1a\u90fd\u63a5\u7eb3\u7684 I used to live in Chicago now I live in Los Angeles\u6211\u4ee5\u524d\u662f\u4f4f\u5728\u829d\u52a0\u829d\u52a0\u54e5\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u662f\u4f4f\u5728\u6d1b\u6749\u77f6 in each of those cities we had idols both by the first name of Michael\u8fd9\u4e24\u4e2a\u57ce\u5e02\u6709\u5076\u50cf\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u540d\u5b57\u53ebMichael\uff0cbut seriously if you look beneath the Sports and entertainment \u5047\u5982\u4f60\u4ece\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8fd0\u52a8\u3001\u5a31\u4e50\u8fd9\u65b9\u9762\u518d\u770b\u4e0b\u53bb\u7684\u65f6\u5019 what are some of our idols \u5230\u5e95\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5076\u50cf\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e1c\u897f\u5462\uff1f1. privacy \u7b2c\u4e00\u5c31\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u9690\u79c1\u6743\uff0c2. leisure \u7b2c\u4e8c\u5c31\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5a31\u4e50\u4f11\u95f2\uff0cwe hurry up and rush in order to relax\u6211\u5feb\u5feb\u5730\u51b2\u523a\uff0c\u597d\u6709\u4e00\u70b9\u65f6\u95f4\u53ef\u4ee5\u4f11\u606f\u4e00\u4e0b we work and work and work so we can have a vacation \u6211\u4eec\u62fc\u547d\u7684\u53bb\u505a\u3001\u62fc\u547d\u7684\u53bb\u505a\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f11\u5047\uff0cleisure\u4f11\u95f2 and then privacy\u7136\u540e\u5c31\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u9690\u79c1\u3002anything that takes the place of God \u51e1\u662f\u4ee3\u66ff\u795e\u7684\u4e1c\u897f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>now Paul was upset\uff0cverse 16\uff0cbecause the city was filled with idols\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u4fdd\u7f57\u4ed6\u7684\u5fc3\u91cc\u9762\u7740\u6025\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u57ce\u91cc\u9762\u662f\u6ee1\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5076\u50cf\u3002what is the Gospel\uff1f\u798f\u97f3\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1fthe gospel is the good news that God meets the deepest need of every human being \u798f\u97f3\u5c31\u662f\u795e\u80fd\u591f\u6ee1\u8db3\u6211\u4eec\u4eba\u6027\u91cc\u9762\u5185\u5fc3\u6700\u6df1\u5904\u7684\u9700\u8981\u3002what does a broken heart need\uff1f\u4e00\u4e2a\u7834\u788e\u7684\u5fc3\u9700\u8981\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1fmore than a friend\uff0c\u4e0d\u6b62\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u670b\u53cb\uff0cmore than comfort \u4e0d\u6b62\u662f\u4e00\u4e9b\u5b89\u6170 more than somebody who will walk with you through pain\u4e0d\u6b62\u662f\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba \u80fd\u591f\u4e0e\u4f60\u4e00\u901a\u5ea6\u8fc7\u82e6\u96be\uff0cdeep inside a broken heart \u5728\u4e00\u4e2a\u7834\u788e\u7684\u5fc3\u91cc\u9762\u7684\u6df1\u5904\uff0cthe broken heart needs a Savior\uff0ca God to worship\u4e00\u9897\u7834\u788e\u7684\u5fc3\u9700\u8981\u6709\u4e00\u4f4d\u6551\u4e3b\u3001\u4e00\u4f4d\u795e\u6765\u656c\u62dc\u3002<\/p>\n<p>and so the people of Athens put Paul up in a place the Areopagus and say may we know the teaching that you are presenting\uff0cverse 19\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u96c5\u5178\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u7684\u4eba\u5c31\u628a\u4fdd\u7f57\u9080\u8bf7\u5230\uff0c\u5c31\u8be2\u95ee\u4ed6\u8bf4\u4f60\u6240\u8bb2\u7684\u6211\u4eec\u613f\u610f\u542c\u3002but here we learn something about the motivation for evangelism \u8fd9\u91cc\u6211\u4eec\u5b66\u5230\u4f20\u798f\u97f3\u7684\u52a8\u529b why do we preach the gospel\uff1f\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u6211\u8981\u4f20\u798f\u97f3\uff1fBecause people are lost and going to hell if they do not know Jesus Christ. \u56e0\u4e3a\u4eba\u662f\u5931\u4e27\u7684\uff0c\u5047\u5982\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e0d\u8ba4\u8bc6\u4e3b\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u8bdd\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5c31\u8981\u4e0b\u5230\u5730\u72f1\u91cc\u9762\u53bb\u3002that is true \uff01\u8fd9\u662f\u771f\u5b9e\u7684\uff01because the church needs to grow \u56e0\u4e3a\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6559\u4f1a\u8981\u6210\u957f\u3002that is true \uff01\u8fd9\u662f\u771f\u7684\uff01because we should obey the great commission\u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u8981\u987a\u670d\u5927\u4f7f\u547d\uff0cthat is true\u3002\u8fd9\u4e5f\u662f\u771f\u5b9e\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p>but here we learn something different\uff0ca higher motivation for evangelism\u4f46\u662f\u8fd9\u91cc\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u4e0d\u4e00\u6837\u7684\u4e1c\u897f\uff0c\u4f20\u798f\u97f3\u66f4\u9ad8\u7684\u52a8\u673a\uff0cagain in verse 16\uff0c\u8fd8\u662f16\u8282\uff0cit reminds you of the anger the upsetness of Jesus in John chapter 2\uff0c\u8fd9\u63d0\u9192\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u5728\u7ea6\u7ff0\u798f\u97f3\u7b2c\u4e8c\u7ae0\u91cc\u4e3b\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u4e49\u6012\uff0cand it has just called this a holy dissatisfaction \u8fd9\u4e2a\u662f\u5723\u6d01\u7684\u6012\u3001\u5723\u6d01\u7684\u4e0d\u6ee1\u610f you see God deserves to be worshipped\u795e\u662f\u914d\u53d7\u6211\u4eec\u656c\u62dc\u7684 and so when men and women do not worship him \u6240\u4ee5\u5f53\u4eba\u4e0d\u656c\u62dc\u7942\u7684\u65f6\u5019 when societies and cultures do not put him at the center \u6240\u4ee5\u5f53\u4e00\u4e2a\u793e\u4f1a\u3001\u4e00\u4e2a\u6587\u5316\u4e0d\u628a\u795e\u653e\u5728\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u65f6\u5019 the societies and cultures do not fear God \u5f53\u4e00\u4e2a\u6587\u5316\u3001\u4e00\u4e2a\u793e\u4f1a\u4e0d\u656c\u754f\u795e\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0cthen Christian people should be upset \u6211\u4eec\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u5c31\u5e94\u8be5\u6124\u6012\u3002<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not upset in such a way that we don&#8217;t love people \u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u8fd9\u6837\u6124\u6012\u5230\u4e00\u4e2a\u5730\u6b65\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u4e0d\u7231\u4ed6\u4eec\u3002Now some people used to say God hates sin but he loves sinners\u6709\u5f88\u591a\u4eba\u8bf4\u795e\u6068\u6076\u7f6a\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u7942\u7231\u7f6a\u4eba\u3002I don&#8217;t read that in the Bible \u6211\u4ece\u5723\u7ecf\u91cc\u9762\u8bfb\u5230\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u8bdd we should say that God hates sinners and God loves sinners anyway \u6211\u4eec\u5e94\u8bf4\u795e\u6068\u6076\u7f6a\u4eba\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u7942\u4e5f\u7231\u7f6a\u4eba\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Read your Psalms\u4f60\u4eec\u9605\u8bfb\u8bd7\u7bc7 and you will read that God hates sin and God hates sinners \u4f60\u53ef\u4ee5\u770b\u5230\u795e\u6068\u6076\u7f6a\uff0c\u4e5f\u6068\u6076\u7f6a\u4eba\u3002Even though God Hates sinners \u867d\u7136\u795e\u6068\u6076\u7f6a\u4eba he out of his Grace came to save sinners \u4f46\u662f\u51fa\u4e8e\u7684\u6069\u5178\uff0c\u7942\u62ef\u6551\u7f6a\u4eba\u3002What is your motivation for evangelism\uff1f\u6240\u4ee5\u4f60\u4f20\u798f\u97f3\u7684\u90a3\u4e2a\u52a8\u529b\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1four younger generation understands something about the importance of worship \u6211\u4eec\u5e74\u8f7b\u7684\u4e00\u4ee3\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u660e\u767d\u656c\u62dc\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027 God deserves to be worshipped \u795e\u662f\u914d\u53d7\u656c\u62dc\u7684\uff0cthis become our motivation as we stand up as salt and light in the world today \u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4eec\u613f\u610f\u8fd9\u6210\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u5929\u8981\u5728\u4e16\u4e0a\u505a\u5149\u505a\u76d0\u7684\u52a8\u529b so that God may be worshipped and glorified by more people and more society \u56e0\u6b64\u795e\u5728\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u4eba\u548c\u793e\u4f1a\u4e2d\u88ab\u656c\u62dc\u4e0e\u8363\u8000\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u63d0\u793a\uff1a\u9010\u5b57\u7a3f\u6587\u5b57\u53ea\u9650\u4e8e\u4e2a\u4eba\u548c\u6559\u4f1a\u79c1\u4e0b\u5b66\u4e60\u4ea4\u6d41\uff0c\u76ee\u7684\u662f\u9020\u5c31\u6559\u4f1a\u548c\u6559\u4f1a\u8d1f\u8d23\u5e26\u9886\u3001\u8bb2\u9053\u7684\u540c\u5de5\u4eec\uff1b\u672a\u7ecf\u540c\u610f\uff0c\u8bf7\u52ff\u64c5\u81ea\u5728\u5176\u5b83\u7f51\u7ad9\u6216\u5e73\u53f0\u8f6c\u8f7d\u548c\u520a\u767b\u8bfe\u7a0b\u7684\u9010\u5b57\u7a3f\uff1b\u8bfe\u7a0b\u7684\u9010\u5b57\u7a3f\u548c\u56fe\u7247\u7684\u7248\u6743\u5f52\u300c\u4e2d\u534e\u5c55\u671b\u300d\uff0c\u7981\u6b62\u590d\u5370\u51fa\u7248\u7b49\u5546\u4e1a\u7528\u9014\u3002\u5f53\u6587\u5b57\u548c\u5f55\u97f3\u4e0d\u7b26\u65f6\uff0c\u4ee5\u5f55\u97f3\u4e3a\u51c6\u3002\u613f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8d50\u798f\u6587\u5b57\u7f16\u8f91\u548c\u6821\u5bf9\u7684\u80a2\u4f53\u6765\u96c5\u6b63\uff01\u82e5\u662f\u6709\u4fee\u6539\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u3001\u5949\u732e\u652f\u6301\u6216\u662f\u5176\u4ed6\u4efb\u4f55\u95ee\u9898\u8bf7\u4f7f\u7528\u4ee5\u4e0b\u90ae\u4ef6\u65b9\u5f0f\u8054\u7cfb\u6211\u4eec\u3002\u4e2d\u534e\u7f51\u7edc\u5723\u7ea6\u5b66\u9662ccnci.org\u4e2d\u534e\u5c55\u671b\u5723\u7ea6\u5b66\u9662
