of the last things<\/strong><strong>\uff0cSession<\/strong> <strong>10<\/strong><strong>\u672b\u4e16\u8bba\u7b2c\u5341\u8bb2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u4eec\u5728\u8bb2\u6559\u4f1a\u5386\u53f2\u4e0a\u201c\u4e2d\u4ecb\u72b6\u6001\u201d\u6709\u54ea\u4e9b\u7684\u770b\u6cd5\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u4e0a\u4e00\u8bb2\uff0c\u8bb2\u8fc7\u4e86\u65e9\u671f\u6559\u7236\u7684\u770b\u6cd5\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u5230\u4e2d\u4e16\u7eaa\uff0c\u5929\u4e3b\u6559\u8ba4\u4e3a\uff0c\u6709\u70bc\u72f1\u201cpurgatory\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u4eec\u73b0\u5728\u7ee7\u7eed\uff0c\u6709\u53e6\u5916\u4e00\u4e2a\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u3002Another idea\uff0cthat was also developed in connection with the thought of the intermediate state\uff0c\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u6982\u5ff5\u5728\u4e2d\u4ecb\u72b6\u6001\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8303\u56f4\u91cc\u9762\u4e5f\u53d1\u5c55\u51fa\u6765\u7684\uff0cwas that of the<em> Limbus Patrum<\/em>\uff0cwhere the Old Testament saints were detained until the resurrection of Christ.\u5c31\u662f\u65e7\u7ea6\u7684\u5723\u5f92\uff0c\u805a\u7559\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u57fa\u7763\u590d\u6d3b\u4e86\u3002\u201c<em>Limbus<\/em> <em>Patrum<\/em>\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u597d\uff0c<strong>\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u5230\u5b97\u6559\u6539\u9769\u7684\u65f6\u671f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Reformers\uff0cone and all\uff0crejected the doctrine of purgatory\uff0c\u6240\u6709\u7684\u5b97\u6559\u6539\u9769\u5bb6\u90fd\u62d2\u7edd\u3001\u6452\u5f03\u201c\u70bc\u72f1\u8bba\u201d\uff0cand also the whole idea of a real intermediate state\uff0cwhich carried with it the idea of an intermediate place.\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e5f\u62d2\u7edd\u76f8\u4fe1\u4e00\u4e2a\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u201c\u4e2d\u4ecb\u72b6\u6001\u201d\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u8bf4\u4f1a\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e2d\u4ecb\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u7684\uff0c\u8fd9\u79cd\u7684\u4e2d\u4ecb\u72b6\u6001\u6982\u5ff5\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e5f\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u7684\u3002They held that\u6539\u6559\u5bb6\u7684\u7acb\u573a\u662f\uff0cthose who died in the Lord at once entered the bliss of heaven\uff0c\u90a3\u4e9b\u5728\u4e3b\u91cc\u6b7b\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u9a6c\u4e0a\u5c31\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u5929\u4e0a\u7684\u798f\u4e50\uff0cwhile those who died in their sins\u90a3\u4e9b\u5728\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u7f6a\u4e2d\u6b7b\u7684\u4eba\u5462\uff0cat once descended into hell.\u9a6c\u4e0a\u5c31\u964d\u5230\u5730\u72f1\u53bb\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However\uff0csome theologians of the Reformation period assumed a difference in degree between the bliss of the former and the judgment of the latter before the final judgment\uff0c\u53ef\u662f\u5462\uff0c\u5728\u5b97\u6559\u6539\u9769\u65f6\u671f\uff0c\u6709\u4e00\u4e9b\u795e\u5b66\u5bb6\u4ed6\u4eec\u5047\u8bbe\uff0c\u5728\u6700\u540e\u7684\u5ba1\u5224\u4e4b\u524d\u548c\u6700\u540e\u7684\u5ba1\u5224\u4e4b\u540e\uff0c\u5929\u5802\u7684\u798f\u4e50\u548c\u6076\u4eba\u7684\u5ba1\u5224\u8ddf\u60e9\u7f5a\u5462\uff0c\u5728\u7a0b\u5ea6\u4e0a\u662f\u6709\u6240\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u3002Among the Socinians and the Anabaptists \u5728\u82cf\u897f\u5c3c\u6d3e\u548c\u91cd\u6d17\u6d3e\u7684\u5708\u5b50\u91cc\uff0cthere were some who revived the old doctrine held by some in the early Church\uff0c\u6709\u4e9b\u4eba\u5462\uff0c\u6062\u590d\u90a3\u4e2a\u5728\u65e9\u671f\u6559\u4f1a\u67d0\u4e9b\u4eba\u6240\u575a\u6301\u7684\u65e7\u7684\u6559\u4e49\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\uff0cthat the soul of man sleeps from the time of death until the resurrection.\u8fd9\u7acb\u573a\u5c31\u662f\u8bf4\uff0c\u4eba\u7684\u7075\u9b42\u4ece\u6b7b\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u5728\u7761\u89c9\u76f4\u5230\u590d\u6d3b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Calvin wrote a treatise to combat this view.\u52a0\u5c14\u6587\u5199\u4e86\u4e00\u4efd\u7684\u8bba\u6587\uff0c\u9a73\u65a5\u7075\u9b42\u7761\u4e86\u7684\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u89c2\u70b9\u3002The same notion is advocated by some Adventist sects \u67d0\u4e00\u4e9b\u7684\u597d\u50cf\u5b89\u606f\u65e5\u4f1a\u90a3\u4e00\u7c7b\u7684\u3001\u590d\u4e34\u7684\u5f02\u7aef\u65c1\u95e8\u5462\uff0c\u4e5f\u5ba3\u8bb2\u8fd9\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u7075\u9b42\u7684\u7761\u3002and by the Millennial Dawnists. \u53e6\u5916\u4e00\u4e9b\u5462\uff0c\u662fDawn\u8fd9\u4e00\u6d3e\u7684\u5343\u79a7\u5e74\u8bba\u8005\u3002During the nineteenth century\u5230\u4e8619\u4e16\u7eaa\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0cseveral theologians\uff0cespecially in England\uff0cSwitzerland\uff0cand Germany\uff0c\u6709\u51e0\u4f4d\u795e\u5b66\u5bb6\uff0c\u7279\u522b\u662f\u5728\u82f1\u683c\u5170\u3001\u745e\u58eb\u548c\u5fb7\u56fd\u7684\uff0cembraced the idea that the intermediate state is a state of further probation for those who have not accepted Christ in this life. \u4ed6\u4eec\u63a5\u53d7\u4e00\u4e2a\u6982\u5ff5\u5c31\u662f\uff0c\u4e2d\u4ecb\u72b6\u6001\u662f\u90a3\u4e9b\u5728\u4eca\u751f\u6ca1\u6709\u63a5\u53d7\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u4e00\u4e2a\u7ee7\u7eed\u88ab\u8003\u9a8c\u7684\u4e00\u79cd\u72b6\u6001\u3002<\/p>\n<p>This view is maintained by some up to the present time\u8fd9\u4e2a\u89c2\u70b9\u5c31\u7b97\u5728\u4eca\u5929\uff0c\u8fd8\u662f\u6709\u4e00\u4e9b\u4eba\u6240\u575a\u6301\u7684\uff0cand is a favorite tenet of the Universalists.\u662f\u666e\u6551\u8bba\u8005\u4ed6\u4eec\u975e\u5e38\u559c\u6b22\u7684\u4e00\u9879\u7684\u6559\u4e49\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5c06\u6765\u8fd8\u6709\u673a\u4f1a\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>C.The Sheol-Hades.<\/strong><strong>\u73b0\u4ee3\u65f6\u671f\u7684\u9634\u95f4\u8bba\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u90a3\u6211\u5148\u8bf4\u4e00\u8bf4\uff0c\u8fd9\u91cc\u6709\u4e24\u4e2a\u5b57\uff1a\u4e00\u4e2a\u5b57\u201cSheol\u201d\uff0c\u4e00\u822c\u628a\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5e0c\u4f2f\u6765\u6587\u5b57\u7ffb\u6210\u201c\u9634\u95f4\u201d\uff1b\u53e6\u5916\u662f\u5e0c\u814a\u5b57\u201cHades\u201d\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5e0c\u814a\u5b57\u4e5f\u662f\u7ffb\u6210\u201c\u9634\u95f4\u201d\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.STATEMENT OF THE DOCTRINE.<\/strong><strong>\u7b2c\u4e00\u3001\u6211\u4eec\u8bba\u8ff0\u201c\u9634\u95f4\u201d\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6559\u4e49\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are several representations of the Biblical conception of <em>sheol-hades<\/em> in present day theology\uff0cand it is quite impossible to consider each one of them separately.\u5728\u5f53\u4eca\u7684\u795e\u5b66\uff08\u8fd9\u4e2a\u662f\u6307\u4f2f\u514b\u5bcc\u5199\u4e66\u7684\u65f6\u50191930\u5e74\u4ee3\uff09\uff0c\u4ed6\u8bf4\uff0c\u5728\u5f53\u4eca\u7684\u795e\u5b66\u5708\u5b50\u91cc\uff0c\u5bf9\u5723\u7ecf\u7684\u201c\u9634\u95f4\u201d\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6982\u5ff5\u6709\u51e0\u79cd\u7684\u8bf4\u6cd5\u3002\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u8bf4\u6cd5\u90fd\u5206\u5f00\u6765\u8ba8\u8bba\u548c\u8003\u8651\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The idea is quite prevalent at present\u4eca\u5929\uff0c\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u975e\u5e38\u6d41\u884c\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u5c31\u662f\uff0cthat the Old Testament conception of <em>sheol<\/em>\uff0cto which that of <em>hades<\/em> in the New Testament is supposed to correspond\uff0cwas borrowed from the Gentile notion of the underworld.\u8fd9\u4e2a\u89c2\u70b9\u5c31\u662f\uff0c\u65e7\u7ea6\u7684\u9634\u95f4\u201cSheol\u201d\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6982\u5ff5\uff0c\u65b0\u7ea6\u5462\u662f\u7528\u201cHades\u201d\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5b57\u5bf9\u79f0\u7684\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6982\u5ff5\u5462\uff0c\u662f\u4ece\u5916\u90a6\u4eba\u7684\u9634\u95f4\u201cunderworld\u201d\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u90a3\u91cc\u501f\u8fc7\u6765\u7684\u3002It is held that\u8fd9\u4e2a\u89c2\u70b9\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\u575a\u6301\u7684\uff0caccording to the Old Testament and the New\uff0cboth the pious and the wicked at death enter the dreary abode of the s<em>hades<\/em>\uff0cthe land of forgetfulness\uff0cwhere they are doomed to an existence that is merely a dreamy reflection of life on earth.\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\u8bf4\u7684\uff0c\u6839\u636e\u65e7\u7ea6\u548c\u65b0\u7ea6\u5723\u7ecf\uff0c\u4e0d\u8bba\u662f\u656c\u8654\u7684\u4eba\u6216\u8005\u6076\u4eba\uff0c\u6b7b\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u5c31\u8fdb\u5165\u8fd9\u4e2a\u9ed1\u6697\u7684\u9634\u95f4\u7684\u5c45\u6240\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5730\u65b9\u662f\u88ab\u9057\u5fd8\u7684\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5c31\u53d7\u5230\u8fd9\u79cd\u7684\u7ed3\u5c40\uff0c\u5728\u90a3\u91cc\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u53ea\u4e0d\u8fc7\u662f\u5728\u5730\u4e0a\u751f\u6d3b\u4e00\u4e2a\u5f88\u865a\u5e7b\u7684\u53cd\u5e94\u800c\u5df2\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The underworld is in itself neither a place of rewards nor a place of punishment.\u8fd9\u79cd\u7684\u9634\u95f4\u201cunderworld\u201d\uff08\u4e0b\u9762\u7684\u4e16\u754c\uff09\u5462\uff0c\u672c\u8eab\u65e2\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u5956\u8d4f\u7684\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u60e9\u7f5a\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u3002It
