therefor blood-shedding of Substitutional sacrifice Jesus Christ is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u7b2c\u4e94\u4e2a\u8003\u8651The cross of Christ is the supreme demonstration of the love of God\u00a0 \u57fa\u7763\u7684\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u7231\u7684\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u5f62\u5f0f\uff0c\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u5f70\u663e\uff0c(Rom. 5:8; \u7f57\u9a6c\u4e665:8\uff0c1 John 4:10\u7ea6\u7ff0\u4e00\u4e664:10).The supreme character of the demonstration resides in the extreme costliness of the sacrifice rendered. \u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u8bf4\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u7231\u6700\u9ad8\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u5f70\u663e\uff1f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6700\u9ad8\u6027\u662f\u5728\u4e8e\u57fa\u7763\u6240\u6210\u5c31\u7684\u727a\u7272\uff0c\u662f\u8fd9\u4e48\u6781\u5ea6\u7684\u4ed8\u4e0a\u6781\u5ea6\u7684\u4ee3\u4ef7\uff0cextreme costliness\u3002It is this costliness \u5c31\u662f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4ed8\u51fa\u7684\u4ee3\u4ef7that Paul has in view when he writes: \u4fdd\u7f57\u5728\u7f57\u9a6c\u4e66\u7b2c\u516b\u7ae032\u8282\u6240\u8bf4\u7684\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u8003\u8651\u5230\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4ee3\u4ef7\u201cHe that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?\u201d (Rom. 8:32). \u7f57\u9a6c\u4e66\u7b2c\u516b\u7ae0\u7b2c32\u8282\uff0c\u201c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u65e2\u4e0d\u7231\u60dc\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u513f\u5b50\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u4f17\u4eba\u820d\u4e86\uff0c\u5c82\u4e0d\u4e5f\u628a\u4e07\u7269\u548c\u7942\u4e00\u540c\u767d\u767d\u7684\u8d50\u7ed9\u6211\u4eec\u5417\uff1fThe costliness of the sacrifice assures us \u57fa\u7763\u7684\u727a\u7272\u6240\u4ed8\u4e0a\u8fd9\u4e48\u7684\u6781\u5ea6\u7684\u4ee3\u4ef7\u5411\u6211\u4eec\u4fdd\u8bc1of the greatness of the love \u4fdd\u8bc1\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u7231\u662f\u591a\u4e48\u7684\u5927and guarantees the bestowal of all other free gifts. \u4e5f\u5411\u6211\u4eec\u4fdd\u8bc1\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5fc5\u7136\u8d50\u4e0b\u6240\u6709\u5176\u4ed6\u767d\u767d\u7684\u6069\u8d50\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p>We must ask, however\u6211\u4eec\u5fc5\u987b\u95ee\u4e00\u4e2a\u95ee\u9898: would the cross of Christ be a supreme exhibition of love if there were no necessity for such costliness? \u5047\u5982\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u4ed8\u4e0a\u90a3\u4e48\u91cd\u5927\u7684\u4ee3\u4ef7\uff0ccostliness\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4ee3\u4ef7\u7684\u6c89\u91cd\u6027\u4e0d\u662f\u5fc5\u9700\u7684\u8bdd\uff0c\u90a3\u4e48\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u8fd8\u662f\u90a3\u4e2a\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u7231\u7684\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u5f70\u663e\u5417\uff1fIs it not so that \u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e0a\u5c82\u4e0d\u662f\u5982\u6b64\u5462\uff1f\u5c31\u662f\u8bf4the only inference on the basis of which the cross of Christ can be commended to us as the supreme exhibition of divine love is that the exigencies provided for required nothing less than the sacrifice of the Son of God? \u6211\u4eec\u6839\u636e\u600e\u4e48\u6837\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u63a8\u8bba\uff0c\u6765\u770b\u5230\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7528\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u6765\u5f70\u663e\u7942\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u7231\uff0c\u4e43\u662f\u8bf4\uff0c\u8fd9\u6839\u636e\u600e\u4e48\u6837\u7684\u63a8\u8bba\u5462\uff1f\u4e43\u662f\u6839\u636e\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e0a\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8feb\u5207\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\u6240\u8981\u6c42\u7684\u3002\u5c31\u662f\u8981\u6c42\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u513f\u5b50\u7684\u727a\u7272\uff0c\u4efb\u4f55\u66f4\u4f4e\u7684\u8d4e\u7f6a\u662f\u4e0d\u8db3\u591f\u7684\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u7231\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u5f70\u663e\u3002On that assumption we can understand John\u2019s utterance, \u6839\u636e\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u524d\u63d0\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u53ef\u4ee5\u660e\u767d\u4f7f\u5f92\u7ea6\u7ff0\u6240\u8bb2\u7684(1 John 4:10)\u7ea6\u7ff0\u4e00\u4e66\u56db\u7ae0\u5341\u8282\u201cHerein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins\u201d . \u7ea6\u7ff0\u4e00\u4e66\u7b2c\u56db\u7ae0\u7b2c10\u8282\uff0c\u201c\u4e0d\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u7231\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u4e43\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7231\u6211\u4eec\uff0c\u5dee\u7942\u7684\u513f\u5b50\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7f6a\u4f5c\u4e86\u633d\u56de\u796d\uff0c\u8fd9\u5c31\u662f\u7231\u4e86\u3002\u201dWithout it we are bereft of the elements necessary to make intelligible to us the meaning of Calvary\u82e5\u6ca1\u6709\u8fd9\u4e2a\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u6ca1\u6709\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7f6a\u7684\u56f0\u5883\u7684\u8feb\u5207\u6027\u5462\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u6ca1\u6709\u90a3\u4e9b\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u6709\u7684\u8981\u7d20\uff0c\u8ba9\u6211\u4eec\u7406\u89e3\u52a0\u7565\u5c71\u7684\u610f\u4e49\uff0cto make intelligible to us the meaning of Calvary and the marvel of its supreme love to us men.\u82e5\u6ca1\u6709\u8fd9\u4e9b\u7684\u8bdd\u5462\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u4e0d\u80fd\u591f\u7406\u89e3\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u7684\u610f\u4e49\u548c\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5411\u6211\u4eec\u7f6a\u4eba\u5f70\u663e\u7942\u7684\u7231\u7684\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u5f70\u663e\uff0c\u6700\u5947\u5999\u7684\u5f70\u663e\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7f6a\u662f\u8fd9\u4e48\u7684\u4e25\u91cd\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u7b2c\u516d\u4e2a\u8003\u8651\uff0cNo.6: Finally, there is the argument from the vindicatory justice of God. \u6700\u540e\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u8bba\u70b9\u662f\u6839\u636e\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8fd9\u79cd\u7684\u60e9\u7f5a\u6027\u7684\u6b63\u4e49vindication,\u62a5\u590d\u3001\u60e9\u7f5a\uff0cjustice\u6b63\u4e49\u3001\u516c\u6b63\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u662f\u516c\u6b63\u7684\uff0c\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u60e9\u7f5a\u7684\u3002Sin is the contradiction of God\u7f6a\u5c31\u662f\u5426\u8ba4\u795e\u89e6\u72af\u795e and he must react against it with holy indignation.\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5fc5\u987b\u4ee5\u7942\u7684\u5723\u6d01\u7684\u6124\u6012\u6765\u5bf9\u7f6a\u6709\u6240\u56de\u5e94\u3002This is to say that sin must meet with divine judgment \u6362\u8a00\u4e4b\uff0c\u7f6a\u5c31\u5fc5\u7136\u5730\u906d\u53d7\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5ba1\u5224(cf. Deut. 27:26\u53c2\u8003\u7533\u547d\u8bb027:26; Nah. 1:2\u62ff\u9e3f\u4e661:2; Hab. 1:13\u54c8\u5df4\u8c37\u4e661:13; Rom. 1:17; 3:21-26\u7f57\u9a6c\u4e661:17\uff1b3:21-26; Gal. 3:10, 13\u52a0\u62c9\u592a\u4e663:10\uff0c13). It is this inviolable sanctity of God\u2019s law\u5c31\u662f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5f8b\u6cd5\u7684\u4e0d\u53ef\u4fb5\u72af\u7684\u5723\u6d01\u6027, the immutable dictate of holiness \u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u5723\u6d01\uff0c\u4e0d\u6539\u53d8\u7684\u8981\u6c42and the unflinching demand of justice\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u516c\u4e49\u7684\u575a\u5b9a\u7684\u8981\u6c42, that makes mandatory the conclusion \u56e0\u6b64\u4e0b\u5217\u7684\u7ed3\u8bba\u662f\u5fc5\u987b\u7684\u7ed3\u8bbathat salvation from sin without expiation and propitiation is inconceivable. \u82e5\u6ca1\u6709\u8d4e\u7f6aexpiation \uff0c\u82e5\u6ca1\u6709\u633d\u56de\u796dpropitiation \uff0c\u4ece\u7f6a\u88ab\u62ef\u6551\u51fa\u6765\u662f\u4e0d\u53ef\u601d\u8bae\u7684\uff0c\u662f\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\uff01<\/p>\n<p>It is this principle \u5c31\u662f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u539f\u5219that explains the sacrifice of the Lord of glory\u6765\u89e3\u91ca\u8363\u8000\u7684\u4e3b\u7684\u727a\u7272, the agony of Gethsemane\u5ba2\u897f\u9a6c\u5c3c\u56ed\u7684\u75db\u82e6, and the abandonment of the accursed tree. \u4e0a\u5e1d\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5492\u8bc5\u7684\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\u5982\u4f55\u7684\u5f03\u7edd\u7942\u7684\u7231\u5b50\u3002It is this principle \u5c31\u662f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u539f\u5219that undergirds the great truth \u652f\u6491\u7740\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u771f\u7406that God is just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. \u4e0a\u5e1d\u7942\u81ea\u5df1\u662f\u516c\u4e49\u7684\uff0c\u4e5f\u79f0\u90a3\u4e9b\u4fe1\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u4eba\u4e3a\u4e49\uff08\u7f57\u9a6c\u4e66\u7b2c\u4e09\u7ae026-27\u8282\uff09For in the work of Christ the dictates of holiness and the demands of justice have been fully vindicated.
