Regeneration.\u7b2c\u4e09\u7ae0:\u91cd\u751f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4e3b\u8bb2\uff1a\u6797\u6148\u4fe1\u7267\u5e08_\u6821\u5bf9\uff1a\u5218\u52a0\u7acb_\u6587\u5b57\uff1acherry<\/p>\n<p>We have found that the application of redemption begins with an effectual call\u6211\u4eec\u5df2\u7ecf\u5b66\u5230\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u65bd\u884c\u6551\u8d4e\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b65\u5c31\u662f\u7942\u6709\u6548\u7684\u547c\u53ecby which God the Father ushers men into the fellowship with his Son.\u7236\u4e0a\u5e1d\u501f\u7740\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u547c\u53ec\uff0c\u9886\u4eba\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u4e0e\u7942\u7684\u513f\u5b50\u5f97\u5206\u7684\u76f8\u4ea4\u3001\u4ea4\u901a\u91cc\u9762\u3002An <em>effectual <\/em>call, however, must carry along with it the appropriate on the part of the person called.\u4e00\u4e2a\u771f\u6b63\u6709\u6548\u7684\u6069\u53ec\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6069\u53ec\u91cc\u9762\u5fc5\u987b\u5305\u542b\u4e86\u8499\u53ec\u7684\u4eba\u7684\u6070\u5f53\u7684\u56de\u5e94\u3002It is God who calls\u547c\u53ec\u7684\u4e43\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1dbut it is not God who answer the call;\u4f46\u662f\u56de\u5e94\u8fd9\u4e2a\u547c\u53ec\u7684\u4e0d\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7942\u81ea\u5df1\uff0cit is the person to whom the call is addressed.\u4e43\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u547c\u53ec\u8c01\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5bf9\u8c61\u3001\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4eba\u6765\u56de\u5e94\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And this response must enlist the exercise of the heart and mind and will of the person concerned.\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u56de\u5e94\u5c31\u5fc5\u987b\u7275\u6d89\u5230\uff0c\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u7528\u4e0a\u5f53\u4e8b\u4eba\u4ed6\u7684\u5fc3\u3001\u4ed6\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u3001\u4ed6\u7684\u610f\u5fd7\u3002It is at this point that we are compelled to ask the question:\u6765\u5230\u8fd9\u4e00\u70b9\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u6211\u4e0d\u80fd\u4e0d\u95ee\u4e0b\u9762\u8fd9\u4e2a\u95ee\u9898\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u662f\u6539\u9769\u5b97\u5f88\u6709\u667a\u6167\u7684\u95ee\u9898\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4eba\u662f\u5815\u843d\u7684\uff0c\u5f88\u591a\u65f6\u5019\u6211\u4eec\u6ca1\u6709\u60f3\u5230\uff0chow can a person who is dead in trespasses and sins,\u4e00\u4e2a\u6b7b\u5728\u8fc7\u72af\u7f6a\u6076\u4e2d\u7684\u4eba\u600e\u4e48\u53ef\u80fd\uff0cwhose mind is enmity of God\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u5fc3\u4e2d\u662f\u4e0e\u795e\u4e3a\u654c\u7684and who cannot do that which is well-pleasing to God\u4ed6\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u505a\u8ba8\u795e\u559c\u60a6\u4f46\u4e8b\u7684\uff0canswer a call to the fellowship of Christ?\u600e\u4e48\u53ef\u80fd\u56de\u5e94\u4e00\u4e2a\u547c\u53ec\uff0c\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u4e0e\u57fa\u7763\u6709\u4efd\u7684\u56e2\u5951\u91cc\u5462\uff1fFellowship is never one-sided;\u76f8\u4ea4\u3001\u4ea4\u901a\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u662f\u5355\u65b9\u7684;it is always mutual.\u4ea4\u901a\u4e00\u5b9a\u662f\u76f8\u4e92\u7684\u3001\u53cc\u5411\u7684\u3002Hence the fellowship\u00a0 of Christ must involve the embrace of Christ in faith and love.\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u4e0e\u57fa\u7763\u6709\u4efd\u7684\u76f8\u4ea4\u5fc5\u987b\u7275\u6d89\u5230\u4eba\u7684\u4fe1\u5fc3\u548c\u7231\u5fc3\uff0c\u8fd9\u6837\u6765\u9886\u53d7\u3001\u6765\u63a5\u53d7\uff0c\u82f1\u6587\u662f\u62e5\u62b1\uff0c\u6765\u63a5\u53d7\u57fa\u7763\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And how can a person whose heart is depraved and whose mind is enmity against God \u800c\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u5fc3\u662f\u5815\u843d\u8d25\u574f\u7684\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u662f\u4e0e\u795e\u4e3a\u654c\u7684\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4eba\u600e\u4e48\u53ef\u80fdembrace him who is the supreme manifestation of the glory of God?\u600e\u4e48\u53ef\u80fd\u53bb\u9886\u53d7\u90a3\u4f4d\u6700\u80fd\u591f\u5f70\u663e\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8363\u8000\u7684\u90a3\u4e00\u4f4d\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u5462\uff1fThe answer to the question is that\u8fd9\u4e2a\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u7b54\u6848\u4e43\u662f\u8bf4\uff0cthe believing and loving response which the calling requires\u547c\u53ec\u6240\u8981\u6c42\u4eba\u6240\u4f5c\u51fa\u7684\u4fe1\u9760\u548c\u7231\u7684\u56de\u5e94is a moral and spiritual impossibility on the part of one who is dead in trespasses and sins.\u5bf9\u4e00\u4f4d\u6b7b\u5728\u7f6a\u6076\u8fc7\u72af\u7f6a\u6076\u4e2d\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u4ece\u4ed6\u7684\u5fc3\u6765\u8bf4\u662f\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\uff0c\u4ece\u4ed6\u7684\u7075\u547d\u6765\u770b\u662f\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\u3002 \u201cThey that are in the flesh cannot please God \u201d(Rom.8:8\u7f57\u9a6c\u4e66\u7b2c\u516b\u7ae0\u7b2c8\u8282)\uff1a \u201c\u5c5e\u8089\u4f53\u7684\u4eba\u4e0d\u80fd\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d\u559c\u6b22\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And our Savior himself gives unequivocal expression to this impossibility \u800c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u6551\u4e3b\uff0c\u7942\u81ea\u5df1\u4e5f\u8bf4\u660e\uff0c\u6beb\u65e0\u7591\u95ee\u7684\u3001\u6beb\u4e0d\u542b\u7cca\u5730\u8bf4\u660e\u8fd9\u4e2a\u662f\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\uff0cwhen he says:(John.6:44,65)<\/p>\n<p>\u7942\u5728\u7ea6\u7ff0\u798f\u97f3\u7b2c\u516d\u7ae0\u7b2c44\u676145\u8282\u8bf4\uff1a \u201cNo man can come unto me except the Father who hath sent me draw him\u201d; \u201c No man can come unto me except it were given to him of the Father\u201d(\u7ea6\u7ff0\u798f\u97f3\u7b2c\u516d\u7ae065\u8282)\uff1a\u201c\u82e5\u4e0d\u662f\u5dee\u6211\u6765\u7684\u7236\u5438\u5f15\u4eba\uff0c\u5c31\u6ca1\u6709\u80fd\u5230\u6211\u8fd9\u91cc\u6765\u7684\u3002\u201d\u7b2c65\u8282\uff1a\u201c\u82e5\u4e0d\u662f\u8499\u6211\u7236\u7684\u6069\u8d50\uff0c\u6ca1\u6709\u4eba\u80fd\u5230\u6211\u8fd9\u91cc\u6765\u3002\u201dThe fact is\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e43\u662f\u8bf4\uff0cthere is a complete incongruity\u00a0 between the glory and virtue to which sinners are called, on the one hand, and the moral and spiritual condition of the called, on the other.\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e43\u662f\u8bf4,\u6709\u4e24\u4ef6\u4e8b\u5b8c\u5168\u4e0d\u76f8\u8c03\u548c\u7684\uff0c\u4e00\u65b9\u9762\uff0c\u7f6a\u4eba\u88ab\u547c\u53ec\u8981\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u90a3\u4e2a\u7684\u8363\u8000\u8ddf\u5927\u80fd\uff0c\u53e6\u5916\u65b9\u9762\u5c31\u662f\u8499\u53ec\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u5fc3\u4e2d\u7684\u548c\u7075\u547d\u7684\u72b6\u6001\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e24\u4e2a\u662f\u5b8c\u5168\u4e0d\u76f8\u7b26\u5408\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p>How is this incongruity to be resolved and the impossibility\u00a0 overcome?\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e0d\u8c03\u548c\u5982\u4f55\u89e3\u51b3\u5462\uff1f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\uff0c\u600e\u4e48\u80fd\u591f\u514b\u670d\u5462\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>It is the glory of the gospel of God&#8217;s grace that it provides for this incongruity.\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6069\u60e0\u7684\u798f\u97f3\u4e4b\u6240\u4ee5\u90a3\u4e48\u7684\u8363\u8000\uff0c\u662f\u56e0\u4e3a\u5b83\u4e3a\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e0d\u76f8\u7b26\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u89e3\u51b3\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u3002God\u2019s call, since it is effectual,\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u547c\u53ec\u65e2\u7136\u662f\u5927\u6709\u529f\u6548\u7684\uff0ccarries with it the operative grace\u8fd9\u4e2a\u547c\u53ec\u672c\u8eab\u5c31\u5305\u542b\u4e86\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5728\u4eba\u751f\u547d\u4e2d\u6240\u8fd0\u4f5c\u7684\u6069\u5178whereby the person called is enable to answer the call\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5728\u5fc3\u4e2d\u8fd0\u4f5c\u7684\u6069\u5178\uff0c\u4f7f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8499\u53ec\u7684\u4eba\u6709\u80fd\u529b\u56de\u5e94\u547c\u53ecand to embrace Jesus Christ as\u00a0 he is freely offered in the gospel.\u5c31\u8ba9\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8499\u53ec\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u65e2\u7136\u798f\u97f3\u91cc\u9762\u767d\u767d\u7684\u9080\u8bf7\u4eba\u6765\u9886\u53d7\u57fa\u7763\uff0c\u4f7f\u4ed6\u6709\u80fd\u529b\u63a5\u53d7\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\uff0cas\u00a0 he is freely offered in the gospel.\u65e2\u7136\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u5728\u798f\u97f3\u91cc\u9762\u767d\u767d\u7684\u8981\u63d0\u4f9b\u7ed9\u4eba\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u9080\u8bf7\uff0cas he is offered in the gospel.\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5728\u4eba\u751f\u547d\u4e2d\u7684\u6069\u5178\uff0c\u5c31\u4f7f\u4eba\u80fd\u591f\u56de\u5e94\u8fd9\u4e2a\u547c\u53ec\u3002God\u2019s grace reaches down to the lowest depth of our need \u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u6069\u5178\u4f38\u5c55\u5230\u3001\u8fdb\u5230\u6211\u4eec\u9700\u8981\u7684\u6700\u4f4e\u7684\u6df1\u5904and meet all the exigencies of the moral and spiritual impossibility which inheres in our depravity and inability.\u6211\u4eec\u662f\u8d25\u574f\u7684\u3001\u662f\u65e0\u80fd\u7684\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5728\u5fc3\u91cc\u9762\uff08\u5c31\u662f\u9053\u5fb7\u4e0a\uff09\u548c\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u7075\u547d\u4e0a\u662f\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u56de\u5e94\u7684\uff0c\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5b8c\u5168\u89e3\u51b3\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u56f0\u96be\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And that grace is the grace of regeneration.\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6069\u5178\u5c31\u662f\u91cd\u751f\u7684\u6069\u5178\u3002It is when we take into account God\u2019s recreative power and grace\u5c31\u662f\u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u8003\u8651\u5230\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8fd9\u79cd\u7684\u518d\u521b\u9020\u7684\u5927\u80fd\u548c\u6069\u5178\uff0cthat the contradiction between the call of God and the sinful condition of the called is resolved.\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u8003\u8651\u5230\u4e0a\u5e1d\u8fd9\u79cd\u7684\u518d\u521b\u9020\u7684\u5927\u80fd\u6069\u5178\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u770b\u5230\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u547c\u53ec\u548c\u8499\u53ec\u7684\u4eba\u7684\u6709\u7f6a\u7684\u72b6\u6001\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u77db\u76fe\u5c31\u89e3\u51b3\u4e86\u3002(Ezek.36:26\u4ee5\u897f\u7ed3\u4e66\u7b2c36\u7ae0\u7b2c26\u8282) \u201cA new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you\u201d \u201c\u6211\u4e5f\u8981\u8d50\u7ed9\u4f60\u4eec\u4e00\u4e2a\u65b0\u5fc3\uff0c\u5c06\u65b0\u7075\u653e\u5728\u4f60\u4eec\u91cc\u9762\u3002\u201d(\u4ee5\u897f\u7ed3\u4e6636\u7ae026\u8282)\u3002God effects a change which is radical and all-pervasive \u4e0a\u5e1d\u5728\u4eba\u91cc\u9762\u505a\u6210\u4e00\u4e2a\u7684\u6539\u53d8\uff0c\u662f\u5f7b\u5e95\u4ece\u6839\u62d4\u8d77\u7684\u6539\u53d8\uff0c\u662f\u6db5\u76d6\u4e00\u5207\u7684\u4eba\u7684\u751f\u547d\u7684\u6539\u53d8\uff0ca change which cannot be explained in terms of any combination, permutation, or accumulation of human resources\uff0c\u800c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6539\u53d8\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u4ece\u4eba\u4efb\u4f55\u7684\u8d44\u6e90\u7684\u7ed3\u5408\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u7d2f\u79ef\u53ef\u4ee5\u89e3\u91ca\u7684,a change nothing familiar words,\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u8bf4\u662f\u5f88\u719f\u6089\u7684\u7ecf\u6587\uff0cbut how frequently their most obviously meaning is ignored or distorted.\u4f46\u662f\u5f88\u591a\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u8fd9\u6bb5\u7ecf\u6587\u6700\u660e\u663e\u7684\u610f\u4e49\u662f\u88ab\u5ffd\u7565\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u88ab\u626d\u66f2\u7684\u3002The mode of regeneration is truly mysterious\u91cd\u751f\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u8bda\u7136\u662f\u5965\u79d8and to this Jesus points in this passage \u8036\u7a23\u5728\u8fd9\u6bb5\u7ecf\u6587\u5c31\u6307\u51fa\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5965\u79d8when he says(John3:8)\u5f53\u7942\u5728\u7ea6\u7ff0\u798f\u97f3\u7b2c\u4e09\u7ae0\u7b2c\u516b\u8282\u8fd9\u6837\u8bf4\u7684\u65f6\u5019: \u201cThe wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, nut canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit\uff0c\u201c\u98ce\u968f\u8457\u610f\u601d\u5439\uff0c\u4f60\u542c\u89c1\u98ce\u7684\u54cd\u58f0\uff0c\u5374\u4e0d\u6653\u5f97\u4ece\u54ea\u91cc\u6765\uff0c\u5f80\u54ea\u91cc\u53bb\u3002\u201d(John3:8\u7ea6\u7ff0\u798f\u97f3\u4e09\u7ae0\u7b2c\u516b\u96c6)\u3002<\/p>\n<p>But there are plain lessons respecting the necessity and the character of the new birth which lie on the face of Jesus\u2019 teaching our Lord says that the super natural birth spoken of is indipensable to seeing and entering the kingdom of God \u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u4e3b\u8036\u7a23\u8bf4\uff1a\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7942\u6240\u8bf4\u5230\u7684\u8d85\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u91cd\u751f\u662f\u770b\u5230\u795e\u7684\u56fd\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u8fdb\u5165\u4e86\u795e\u7684\u56fd\u6240\u5fc5\u9700\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0che surely means by \u201cseeing\u201d \u7942\u8bf4\u770b\u89c1\u3001\u89c1\u5230\u795e\u7684\u56fd\u7684\u610f\u601d\u5f53\u7136\u5c31\u662f\u8bf4\u7684the spiritual discernment of which Paul speaks in 1 Cor.2:14\u89c1\u5230\u795e\u7684\u56fd\u610f\u601d\u5f53\u7136\u5c31\u662f\u4fdd\u7f57\u5728\u54e5\u6797\u591a\u524d\u4e66\u7b2c\u4e8c\u7ae014\u8282\u6240\u8bb2\u7684\u6574\u4e2a\u5c5e\u7075\u7684\u770b\u89c1\uff0cand by \u201centering into\u201d\u5f53\u8036\u7a23\u8bf4\u5230\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u795e\u7684\u56fd\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u5462\uff0che refers that by which we become actual members of the kingdom\u00a0 of God\u5c31\u662f\u5728\u8bb2\u6211\u4eec\u5177\u4f53\u6210\u4e3a\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u56fd\u7684\u6210\u5458\u7684\u90a3\u4e2a\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5and therefore partakers of the blessing which membership entails.\u6211\u4eec\u8fdb\u5165\u4e86\u795e\u7684\u56fd\uff0c\u4e0e\u4f5c\u795e\u7684\u56fd\u7684\u6210\u5458\u6240\u80fd\u591f\u4eab\u53d7\u7684\u798f\u5206\u6709\u4efd\u3002We may focus attention reason\u9664\u975e\u6709\u4e00\u4e9b\u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u80fd\u4e0d\u63a5\u53d7\u7684\u7406\u7531\uff0cfor thinking that in using the word \u201cwater\u201d he must have been referring to the water of baptism.\u90a3\u4e9b\u4e0d\u80fd\u4e0d\u63a5\u53d7\u7684\u7406\u7531\u4f7f\u6211\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u5f53\u8036\u7a23\u8bb2\u5230\u6c34\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u7942\u4e00\u5b9a\u662f\u6307\u6d17\u793c\u4e2d\u7684\u6c34\u3002But there is no need to regard the word \u201cwater\u201d this text is referring to the rite of baptism\u4f46\u662f\u8fd9\u91cc\u5e76\u6ca1\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u7684\u9700\u8981\uff0c\u8ba9\u6211\u4eec\u5fc5\u987b\u5728\u8fd9\u6bb5\u7ecf\u6587\u7684\u6c34\uff0c\u770b\u4e3a\u662f\u6307\u6d17\u793c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4eea\u5f0f\u7684and there are good reasons for thinking that it has another import and reference. should keep in view the situation in which Jesus spoke these words.\u6211\u4eec\u5fc5\u987b\u6ce8\u610f\u8036\u7a23\u5728\u8bb2\u8fd9\u4e9b\u8bdd\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u662f\u5728\u600e\u4e48\u6837\u4e00\u4e2a\u60c5\u666f\u3002He was engaged in a dialogue with Nicodemus\u8036\u7a23\u8fd9\u91cc\u662f\u4e0e\u5c3c\u54e5\u5e95\u6bcd\u8fdb\u884c\u4e00\u6bb5\u7684\u5bf9\u8bddon an intensely religious question.\u8fd9\u91cc\u7684\u5bf9\u8bdd\u7684\u5185\u5bb9\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u6781\u5176\u5b97\u6559\u6027\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u3002In terms of this conversation nothing is more reasonable and natural than to suppose\u6211\u4eec\u770b\u8fd9\u6bb5\u7684\u5bf9\u8bdd\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u6700\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u3001\u6700\u5408\u7406\u5c31\u662f\u5e94\u8be5\u8ba4\u4e3athat Jesus wanted to the convey to Nicodemus and idea of religious import which would be directly relevant to the subject if interest.\u8036\u7a23\u5728\u8fd9\u91cc\u8981\u8ddf\u5c3c\u54e5\u5e95\u6bcd\u8bb2\u5230\u4e00\u4e2a\u5bf9\u4ed6\u7684\u5b97\u6559\u6709\u76f4\u63a5\u91cd\u8981\u6027\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\uff0c\u662f\u76f4\u63a5\u4e0e\u8ba8\u8bba\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\u6709\u5173\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Now what religious idea would we expect to be conveyed to the mind of Nicodemus by the word of \u201cwater\u201d?\u5f53\u8036\u7a23\u8bf4\u201d\u6c34\u201d\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u7942\u8981\u5728\u5c3c\u54e5\u5e95\u6bcd\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u4e2d\u8981\u60f3\u5230\u600e\u4e48\u4e00\u4e2a\u6982\u5ff5\u5462\uff1fOf course ,the idea associated with the <em>religious <\/em>use of water in that religious tradition and practice which provided the very context of Nicodemus\u2019 life and profession.\u5f53\u7136\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5c3c\u54e5\u5e95\u6bcd\u7684\u4e00\u751f\uff0c\u4ed6\u6240\u627f\u8ba4\u7684\u4fe1\u4ef0\u91cc\u9762\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u5b97\u6559\u4f20\u7edf\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5b97\u6559\u7684\u5b9e\u8df5\u91cc\u9762\uff0c\u6c34\u662f\u600e\u4e48\u6837\u5728\u5b97\u6559\u4eea\u5f0f\u4e0a\u6240\u4f7f\u7528\u7684\u3002And that is just saying that\u6362\u8a00\u4e4b\uff0cthe religion is import of water in the Old Testament,\u6362\u8a00\u4e4b\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u9898\u76ee\u5c31\u662f\u65e7\u7ea6\u91cc\u9762\uff0c\u5728\u72b9\u592a\u4eba\u7684\u5b97\u6559\u6c34\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027,in the rites of Judaism,\u4e0d\u5355\u662f\u65e7\u7ea6\uff0c\u8fd8\u6709\u65e7\u7ea6\u5199\u5b8c\u4e4b\u540e\u7684\u72b9\u592a\u6559\u91cc\u7684\u4eea\u5f0f\uff0cand in contemporary practice.\u6700\u540e\u5c31\u662f\u8036\u7a23\u65f6\u671f\u7684\u72b9\u592a\u4eba\u7684\u4e60\u60ef\u3002\u65e7\u7ea6\u3001\u65e7\u7ea6\u4e4b\u540e\u72b9\u592a\u6559\u3001\u548c\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u65f6\u4ee3\u7684\u4fe1\u4ef0\u548c\u5b9e\u8df5\u3002<\/p>\n<p>When we say this there is one answer.\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u8fd9\u6837\u8bf4\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff1b\u8fd9\u4e2a\u95ee\u9898\u53ea\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u7b54\u6848\u3002The religious use of water, that is to say, the religiously symbolic meaning of water, pointed in one direction,\u5728\u5b97\u6559\u4e0a\u4f7f\u7528\u6c34\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u8bf4\u6c34\u5728\u5b97\u6559\u4e0a\u7684\u8c61\u5f81\u7684\u610f\u4e49\uff0c\u53ea\u671d\u4e00\u4e2a\u65b9\u5411\uff0cand that direction is purification.\u800c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u65b9\u5411\u5c31\u662f\u6d01\u51c0purification\uff0c\u6d01\u51c0\u3002All the relevant considerations would conspire to convey to Nicodemus that message. \u5728\u8fd9\u6bb5\u5bf9\u8bdd\u91cc\u9762\u6240\u6709\u7684\u8003\u8651\u90fd\u662f\u6307\u5411\u8fd9\u4e2a\u65b9\u5411\uff0c\u5bf9\u5c3c\u54e5\u5e95\u6bcd\u8bf4\u51fa\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7684\u4fe1\u606f\u3002And that message would be focused in his mind in one central thought,\u5728\u4ed6\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u91cc\u9762\u53ea\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u7684\u601d\u60f3\uff0c\u662f\u8ba9\u4ed6\u96c6\u4e2d\u7684the indispensable necessity of purification for entrance into the kingdom of God.\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4fe1\u606f\u5c31\u662f\u8bf4\uff0c\u82e5\u8981\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u795e\u7684\u56fd\u5ea6\uff0c\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u88ab\u6d17\u5e72\u51c0\uff0c\u8981\u6d01\u51c0\u3002<\/p>\n<p>it was characteristic of Jesus\u2019 teaching to lay his finger directly upon the characteristic sin\u00a0 and need of those with whom he was characteristic sin pharisees \u800c\u6cd5\u5229\u8d5b\u4eba\u7684\u6700\u5178\u578b\u7684\u7f6awas self-complacency \u5c31\u662f\u81ea\u9e23\u5f97\u610f\uff0cand self-righteousness.\u8fd8\u6709\u81ea\u4ee5\u4e3a\u4e49\u3002What they needed was to be convinced of their own pollution \u4ed6\u4eec\u9700\u8981\u88ab\u8bf4\u670d\uff0c\u88ab\u624e\u5fc3\u77e5\u7f6a\uff0c\u770b\u5230\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u6c61\u79fd\uff0cand the need of radical purification.\u4ed6\u4eec\u770b\u5230\u4ed6\u4eec\u5f7b\u5e95\u7684\u4ece\u6839\u62d4\u8d77\u7684\u9700\u8981\u6d01\u51c0\u3002It is this lesson that the expression \u201cborn of water\u201d would have conveyed most effectively.\u5f53\u8036\u7a23\u8bf4\u4ece\u6c34\u91cd\u751f\uff0c\u8981\u8868\u8fbe\u7684\u5c31\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u6559\u8bad\u3002Entrance into the kingdom of God\uff0c\u4eba\u8981\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u56fd\uff0ccould only be secured by purification from the defilement of sin.\u552f\u6709\u4e00\u6761\u8def\uff0c\u4fdd\u8bc1\u4eba\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u795e\u7684\u56fd\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u4ece\u7f6a\u7684\u73b7\u6c61\u88ab\u6d01\u51c0\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The water of purification is as it were the womb out of which must emerge that new life\u6d01\u51c0\u7684\u6c34\u5c31\u5b55\u80b2\u7740\u8fd9\u4e2a\u65b0\u7684\u751f\u547d\u7684\u8bde\u751f\uff0cwhich gives entrance into and fits for membership in the kingdom of God.\u4f7f\u4eba\u8fdb\u5165\u5230\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u56fd\uff0c\u4f7f\u4eba\u6709\u8d44\u683c\u6210\u4e3a\u4e0a\u5e1d\u7684\u56fd\u5ea6\u6210\u5458\u3002This is the purificatory aspect of regeneration.\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5c31\u662f\u91cd\u751f\u7684\u6d01\u51c0\u7684\u90a3\u4e2a\u5c42\u9762\u3002Regeneration must negate the past as well as reconstitute for the future.\u91cd\u751f\u5fc5\u987b\u4f7f\u8fc7\u53bb\u6210\u4e3a\u88ab\u5426\u5b9a\u4e86\u7684\uff0c\u53e6\u5916\u8fd8\u8981\u91cd\u5efa\u751f\u547d\uff0c\u5efa\u7acb\u672a\u6765\u3002<\/p>\n<p>It must cleanse from sin\u5fc5\u987b\u6d01\u51c0\u4eba\u8131\u79bb\u7f6a\uff0c as well as recreate in righteousness.\u540c\u65f6\u8981\u518d\u9020\u65b0\u7684\u751f\u547d\uff0c\u662f\u5145\u6ee1\u516c\u4e49\u7684\u751f\u547d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>There can be no question but \u201cborn of the Spirit\u201d
