      Worldview = a general conception of the universe.<\/p>\n

        \u5927\u53d9\u8ff0\u89c6\u5b87\u5b99\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e0d\u65ad\u524d\u8fdb\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\uff1b<\/p>\n

        Meta-narrative sees the universe as an ongoing story,<\/p>\n

        \u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u5219\u89c6\u5b87\u5b99\u4e3a\u4e00\u7ec4\u7269\u4f53\uff0c\u4e8b\u5b9e\uff0c\u8fc7\u7a0b\u3002<\/p>\n

        Worldview sees the universe as a collection of things, facts, processes.<\/p>\n

        \u56de\u5e94\uff1aRESPONSE:<\/p>\n

        \u300e\u5927\u53d9\u8ff0\u300f\u548c\u300e\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u300f\u8fd9\u4e24\u4e2a\u89c2\u5ff5\uff0c\u662f\u4e92\u4e3a\u524d\u63d0\uff08\u9884\u8bbe\uff09\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

        The two ideas presuppose each other.<\/p>\n

        \u53d9\u8ff0\u82e5\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u5fc5\u7136\u662f\u5173\u4e4e\u67d0\u67d0\u4e8b\u7269\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\uff1a\u5173\u4e8e\u4e8b\u7269\uff08\u5305\u62ec\u4f4d\u683c\uff09\uff0c\u4e8b\u5b9e\uff0c\u8fc7\u7a0b\u3002<\/p>\n

        If there is a narrative, it must be about something \u2013 things (including persons), facts, processes.<\/p>\n

        \u800c\u4e8b\u7269\uff0c\u4e8b\u5b9e\uff0c\u8fc7\u7a0b\u82e5\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u5b83\u4eec\u5fc5\u7136\u6709\u5176\u5386\u53f2\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u900f\u8fc7\u53d9\u8ff0\u6765\u63cf\u8ff0\u2026\u3002<\/p>\n

        If there are things, facts, or processes, they have a history, can be described in a narrative, however dull the narrative might be.<\/p>\n

          Yes, it seems arrogant to claim: one knows general structure of universe.<\/p>\n

          \u4f46\u6211\u4eec\u5e94\u8be5\u80fd\u7406\u89e3\uff1a\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u5176\u5b9e\u662f\u4e0d\u53ef\u6216\u7f3a\u7684\uff0c\u81f3\u5c11\u4f5c\u4e3a\u6682\u65f6\u7684\u5047\u8bbe (working assumptions) \uff0c\u662f\u5fc5\u9700\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

          But we should be able to understand: Worldviews are indispensable, at least as working assumptions.<\/p>\n

          \u4f8b\u5982\uff1a\u5b87\u5b99\u82e5\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u900f\u8fc7\u7406\u6027\u601d\u8003\u800c\u8ba4\u8bc6\uff0c\u90a3\u4e48\uff0c\u82b1\u65f6\u95f4\u8ba8\u8bba\u5b83\u5e72\u5565\uff1f<\/p>\n

          E.g. If universe is inaccessible to rational thought, why discuss it at all?<\/p>\n

          \u540e\u73b0\u4ee3\u601d\u60f3\u5bb6\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e48\u8ba4\u4e3a\uff1a\u5199\u4e66\uff0c\u7acb\u8bba\uff0c\u4ee5\u652f\u6301\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u540e\u73b0\u4ee3\u4e3b\u4e49\u6709\u5176\u4ef7\u503c\uff1f<\/p>\n

          Why should even post-modernist people believe there is value in writing books, making rational arguments to defend their postmodernism?<\/p>\n

          \u81f3\u7ec8\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5fc5\u7136\u4f1a\u5047\u8bbe\uff1a\u5b87\u5b99\u662f\u4eba\u7684\u7406\u6027\u53ef\u4ee5\u77e5\u9053\u7684 (accessible to the mind)\u3002<\/p>\n

          Inevitably we assume: the world is accessible to the human mind.<\/p>\n

          \u800c\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u5047\u8bbe\u5c31\u662f\u5bf9\u6574\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\u7684\u4e00\u79cd\u4fe1\u5ff5\uff1a\u4e00\u4e2a\u300e\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u300f\u3002<\/p>\n

          And that assumption is a belief about the world as a whole \u2013 it is a worldview.<\/p>\n

          \u5229\u5965\u5854\u53ef\u80fd\u7aed\u529b\u7acb\u8bba\u53cd\u5bf9\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5f53\u4ed6\u5982\u6b64\u4f5c\u65f6\uff0c\u5fc5\u987b\u5047\u8bbe\u4e00\u4e2a\u53e6\u7c7b\u7684\u4e16\u754c\uff1a\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u662f\u975e\u7406\u6027\u7684\uff0c\u4eba\u7684\u7406\u6027\u4e0d\u80fd\u8ba4\u77e5\uff1b\u4f46\u662f\u6ca1\u65e0\u6cd5\u89e3\u91ca\u5730\uff0c\u6709\u4e9b\u5c0f\u5c0f\u7684\u5177\u7406\u6027\u7684\u533a\u57df\uff08\u5c0f\u5c0f\u7684\u300e\u53d9\u8ff0\u300f\uff09 \uff0c\u56e0\u7740\u5b83\u4eec\u7684\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u53ef\u4ee5\u4e00\u540c\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u5f7c\u6b64\u8ba8\u8bba\u3002<\/p>\n

          Lyotard may argue against it, but in doing so, he necessarily assumes a different world \u2013 a world in which most of the universe is irrational, not accessible to the mind but in which, unaccountably, there are little pockets of rationality (\u201clittle narratives\u201d) which enable us to live and talk together.<\/p>\n

          \u5b87\u5b99\u5e9e\u5927\u7684\u975e\u7406\u6027\uff0c\u52a0\u4e0a\u4e00\u4e9b\u5177\u7406\u6027\u7684\u5c0f\u533a\uff1a\u8fd9\u5c31\u6784\u6210\u5229\u5965\u5854\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u3002<\/p>\n

          The irrational vastness, plus pockets of rationality, constitutes Lyotard\u2019s worldview.<\/p>\n

          \u5229\u5965\u5854\u5e76\u6ca1\u6709\u6210\u529f\u5730\u6392\u9664\u4e86\u6240\u6709\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\uff1b\u53ea\u4e0d\u8fc7\u7528\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u53d6\u4ee3\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u800c\u5df2\u3002<\/p>\n

          He has not done away with meta-narratives, but has only substituted one for another.<\/p>\n

            As a Christian, I am committed to a worldview which comes from Bible (Frame).<\/p>\n

            \u4e0a\u5e1d\u662f\u5b87\u5b99\u7684\u521b\u9020\u4e3b\u3002<\/p>\n

            God is the Creator.<\/p>\n

            \u57fa\u7763\u7684\u8d4e\u7f6a\u5927\u5de5\u4e43\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u5f97\u6551\u7684\u6839\u636e\u3002<\/p>\n

            Christ\u2019s atonement is our salvation.<\/p>\n

            \u57fa\u7763\u5fc5\u5c06\u518d\u6765\uff1a\u90a3\u65f6\uff0c\u5b87\u5b99\u4e07\u7269\u5c31\u8fbe\u5230\u7ec8\u70b9(consummation)\u3002<\/p>\n

            Christ will return \u2013 it will be the consummation of all things.<\/p>\n

              But that is inevitable, when we are dealing with worldviews.<\/p>\n

              \u5f53\u5229\u5965\u5854\u4e3a\u4ed6\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u4e89\u8fa9\u65f6\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u628a\u5b83\u4f5c\u4e3a\u524d\u63d0\uff08\u9884\u8bbe\uff09\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

              Lyotard assumes his worldview when he argues for it.<\/p>\n

              \u7406\u6027\u4e3b\u4e49\u8005\uff0c\u5fc5\u987b\u8bc9\u8bf8\u7406\u6027\u6765\u7ef4\u62a4\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u7406\u6027\u4e3b\u4e49\u3002<\/p>\n

              Rationalists defend their rationalism by appealing to reason.<\/p>\n

              \u552f\u5fc3\uff08\u7406\u60f3\uff09\u4e3b\u4e49\u8005\u5fc5\u987b\u7528\u6839\u636e\u552f\u5fc3\uff08\u7406\u60f3\uff09\u4e3b\u4e49\u7684\u8bba\u636e\u6765\u7ef4\u62a4\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u552f\u5fc3\uff08\u7406\u60f3\uff09\u4e3b\u4e49\u3002<\/p>\n

              Idealists defend their idealism by constructing arguments informed by idealism.<\/p>\n

              \u7ecf\u9a8c\u4e3b\u4e49\u8005\uff0c\u81f3\u7ec8\u5fc5\u987b\u8bc9\u8bf8\u4e94\u5b98\u7ecf\u9a8c\u6765\u7ef4\u62a4\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u7ecf\u9a8c\u4e3b\u4e49\uff0c\u867d\u7136\u4ed6\u4eec\u5f88\u5c11\u8fd9\u6837\u4f5c\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u5f88\u96be\u60f3\u8c61\uff0c\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u8bba\u636e\u600e\u80fd\u6210\u529f\u3002<\/p>\n

              Empiricists, in the end, must defend empiricism by appealing to sense experience, though they rarely try to do that, and it is hard to imagine how that defense could be successful.<\/p>\n

              \u54f2\u5b66\u5c31\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\uff1b\u4eba\u751f\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c42\u9762\u90fd\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\uff01<\/p>\n

              That is the way it is in philosophy, and in all of life:<\/p>\n

              \u6211\u4eec\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u8e0f\u51fa\u81ea\u6211\uff01<\/p>\n

              We can\u2019t step out of our skins.<\/p>\n

              \u6211\u4eec\u6700\u591a\u80fd\u4f5c\u7684\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5f7c\u6b64\u544a\u8bc9\u5bf9\u65b9\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u89c2\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u8bf4\u662f\u5408\u7406\u7684\uff0c\u4e5f\uff08\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u8bf4\uff09\u5408\u7406\u5730\u89e3\u91ca\u4eba\u751f\u4e07\u4e8b\u3002<\/p>\n

              The best we can do is to show one another why our worldview makes sense to us, and makes sense (to us) of all of life.<\/p>\n
